Camp Sacred City 2026

Here I witnessed a community remembering what becomes possible when people gather with open hearts, clear minds, and a willingness to share their gifts freely.

Music rising through the trees.
Bare feet on the earth.
Laughter echoing across the land.
Children, elders, animals, artists, seekers, musicians, healers—each bringing their own medicine to the circle.

This is what it looks like to be…
Sacred.
Silly.
Safe.
Sober.
Sovereign.

A deep bow to the artists who shaped the heartbeat of this weekend—
Tubby Love,
Paul Izak,
Uma Lanzillotta,
Frank Heke,
the Freedom Family,
and the Sacred City Band.

Thank you for the songs, the prayers, the laughter, the dance floors, and the reminders of what music can awaken when it’s offered from the heart.

Thank you to the entire Sacred City family for trusting me to witness and reflect the spirit of Camp Sacred City. It was an honor to capture the musicians, the campers, the animals, the land, and all the beautiful in-between moments that made this gathering what it was.

May these images serve as a living reminder of what was created here… and of what’s possible when community leads.

To all Camp Sacred City participants—your photo gallery is being released this week. Stay tuned.

With love,
Megan Smit

I’m rich because I’m recognizing that I’m finally finding my people. And they are really good human beings.

I think sometimes I take for granted the people that I have in my circle. It just seems normal, natural. But I’m starting to understand that not everyone is blessed to have just good people in their lives.

Not only are my people good people, they’re, kind, genuine, giving, and most of them are top tier in their industries and are geniuses!

All that to say. I’m grateful. Thank yall for showing up. And I love yall! You all inspire me!
