Every year I have one race where I make mistake after mistake and do NOT live up to my standards- this was the 2026 one 🤣🤣 My first thought after crossing the finish line was 'well I don't have a bronze medal yet this year, so maybe I'll get lucky and get that' - was NOT expecting gold 🫠

Always great racing in the Midwest and seeing the local crew!!! Shout out to @tbryant216 for FINALLY moving up to Elite after multiple threats of violence from me and getting 1st and 2nd!! To @thecaptain1212 for also moving to Elite and putting down some impressive times (and placing the dreaded 4th!) To @cherepleah for moving into Age Group and also getting 4th in by far the most competitive age group (she would have been 1st or 2nd in any other one!!) 👏👏👏

I had an absolutely fantastic time this past weekend at @thisiswarx! The War X team did an amazing job putting on the races and hosting the USAOCR nationals this year!
I did the 12k with 42 obstacles Saturday morning, then the battle challenge Saturday night, and I finished the trilogy off with a 3k with 21 obstacles on Sunday morning! I did the 3k barefoot, because why not?? 😎😎 It poured Saturday morning and created a mudfest out on the course, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It definitely added an extra challenge, especially for the elite racers who went out in the worst of the rain.

I had a blast out on the course, delicious coffee all weekend, watched the fireworks from the best seat in the house, danced to a lot of great music, and I got to meet so many incredible people and athletes! I also thoroughly enjoyed the road trip and the beauty of Ohio!
I definitely struggled with a lot of the obstacles, specifically the many rigs, but I have a clearer idea of what I need to train and improve on going forward. Every failure on an obstacle is just an opportunity to learn what areas I need to focus on and work harder in 😁

My hype friend @daniraehoff This is in Kansas . I have too much video adventures! I liked this venue with lots of kids and parents! Family friendly and activities go good together! The mouse wheel I call it was so fun and I tried in past before but this is my best fun with it

I feel like I am way behind with reels than I realized after management of my new website and business page. Mass video dump from last Saturday and Sunday and two different states

Inspired after my friend @daniraehoff dress design by her and it is made by athletes for athletes. Speed Ruck boots and Compression Socks by @mudgear And to think I just changed from my frumpy work uniform to try on to see how it fits to show her and then played on my phone. Ready for another obstacle course. Maybe Indiana Tough Mudder but I wish Atlanta. It’s amazing what an outfit can make you feel like! Get ready for your next adventure

This could be you and your friends. Tag someone who needs to do this with you. 👇

Fair warning: you WILL get muddy. You WILL question your life choices somewhere around obstacle 6. And you WILL immediately want to sign up again the second you cross the finish line.
That's just how it works. 🤷‍♀️

Midwest OCR is back on Sept.19th in Chicagoland.

One day you’ll look back and remember the moments you chose courage over comfort. The day you showed up unsure. The day you got muddy, tired, maybe frustrated… and still crossed the finish line.

Midwest OCR isn’t about being the fastest or the strongest. It’s about choosing the experience. Choosing the memory. Choosing to bet on yourself.

Don’t let this be another someday.

Make it an ‘I can’t believe I did that.’

Had a blast at Rotten Pumpkin by @hazelwood_ocr last Saturday. I got 2nd at the race and 2nd in the Heartland series. That was probably my last OCR for the year, so I can't wait to see you all next year In January for @abominableracing
