The fly swap is BACK 🪰

Never done one? Here's the deal: everyone picks one pattern and ties a full set of them. You mail your set to me, I mix the whole pot, and everyone gets one of everybody else's flies back. Tie one pattern, come home with a box full of everyone else's best work. We'll lock the exact number per tyer once we see the headcount.

The plan:
📋 In by November 1st — comment "I'm in" or DM me
📬 Flies in my hands by November 20th
📦 I sort and ship everything back the following week

@rys_flies_yyc @freddysflyz already raised a hand — who else wants in? @swearyangler @flies.by.jake @stonefly_bespoke @danish_fly_tying

Congrats to a lucky customer who will receive the FlyBag Ready to Fish with Jens Skaerbaek’s (@danish_fly_tying) flies!

A few FlyBag Heroes Ready to Fish with flies from some of our favorite fly tiers are still out there. Randomly packed, sealed and mixed up. You might be next!

Gammarus

A small but incredibly effective fly, perfect for sea trout. You can adjust the colors depending on your mood, because in the sea it’s a lottery anyway. Have fun with it!

Hello Guys 🪝🤝
Baitfish. I only have little experience with this type of fly, but I’m very happy with this one. Tell me what you think about it and if you have any good tips for me - please let me know 😄 I used two types of craft fur. The top body is made of golden olive from @theflycompany , and the bottom is white with a subtle gray tint. I also added white STF dubbing @theflycompany to add a bit of shine. A flash shine shines through the center. The eyes are @harelinedubbin fluorescent fly eyes, chartreuse green, 4 mm. The entire pattern was mounted on an @ahrexhooks NS172 CURVED GAMMARUS 8
The photo shown here was added when the pattern was wet because I’m proud of how it looks. Let me know what you think.
