For Tove Lo @tovelo , getting older doesn’t mean getting sensible, contained or any less horny. On ESTRUS, her sixth studio album, the Swedish singer-songwriter embraces messiness, mischief and the freedom to keep making mistakes. From cult imagery and teenage angst to growing pains and letting the body take over, Tove Lo refuses to edit herself into something more palatable. After all, why outgrow the parts of yourself that make life fun?

Growing up is overrated. Just ask Tove Lo @tovelo

In the next cover story from our upcoming FW26 LOST PARADISE issue, the Swedish singer-songwriter gets candid about ESTRUS, her new album and self-proclaimed “Peter Pan record,” embracing teenage angst and refusing to tone down the sex, desire and mischief that make her music what it is.

From cults and conformity to the challenges of long-term love and the freedom of never quite growing up, Tove Lo keeps voicing the feelings we might be scared to admit to ourselves. And she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Don’t go to Colombia, they say.

It’s dangerously beautiful.

A place where butterflies dance through the air, where every sunrise begins with birdsong and every evening ends with the quiet chorus of crickets.

Your children will spend their days chasing waterfalls, climbing mountains, running through endless green, and falling in love with sunsets that seem to last forever.

This is Colombia.

A place that has a way of finding its way into your heart…
and never really leaving.
