Talking to @danlamorte about his journey to and through the Leadville 100 revealed a man who seemed to take exactly what he needed from running while giving everything he had to the people and places that running brought into his life.

We covered life as a comedian and how his life continues to change while his ability to roll with the punches stays consistent.

We laughed more than a normal TMRP episode while also getting a candid look at one of trail running’s most interesting people and stories.

You can grab the episode wherever you get your podcasts.

@danlamorte hits the Mic Drop stage tonight! 🎤

A distinct voice in stand up comedy and not just because he’s on the spectrum. Dan LaMorte has appeared on Fox’s Red Eye, AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live, and earned over a million streams on Pandora with his two albums. By 23 he had a promising comedy resume and a 354 pound body. A fatty liver diagnosis changed everything and over three years he lost more than 185 pounds and became an ultra runner. In 2023 he was selected as a New Face at Just For Laughs Montreal and followed it up with a standout Don’t Tell Comedy set in 2024.

Come see why his story and his punchlines hit different.
