FUN FACT: She has taught & trained my family for years & now it was my turn to return back to choreography so I had to go to the BEST!

Deep gratitude to @intempo_dance, for opening your beautiful studios for our 2nd Taller de Tambores Venezolanos. 🇻🇪
There is something truly powerful about coming together to share our culture, our rhythms, and our joy. Moments like these, remind us that dance is more than movement: it’s connection, community, and celebration in its purest form.

Stay tuned for more updates!

What an unforgettable evening at last night’s COLORES event. COLORES is more than a celebration, it’s a space to honor heritage, uplift voices, and strengthen connections across our design community.

Thank you to @kirkseynews for opening their doors to host this special evening, to our dedicated Latinos in Architecture committee members for making it all possible, to Chef Emmanuel Chavez for sharing his incredible food and story alongside Jesús Edmundo Robles, Jr. and Cade Manning Hayes of @dust_architects, and to the @danmaracademy and Julian Corona-Medina’s Mariachi quartet for filling the night with unforgettable performances.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for COLORES 2025!

From Wednesday’s thoughtful conversation at Architecture Center Houston to Thursday’s incredible evening with Chef Emmanuel Chavez of TATEMÓ (@tatemo_htx), this year’s celebration brought us closer through design, culture, and community.

Swipe through to relive the conversations, performances, and connections that made COLORES 2025 so powerful.

We are grateful to our speakers, performers, partners, and attendees for celebrating with us. Proceeds from COLORES support the Latinos in Architecture Scholarship Program, helping empower the next generation of Latino architects and designers.
