Big thanks to everyone who joined us for our keynote event with sales expert Ryan Hall in Bristol this week. His brilliant presentation outlined a framework for building a consistent go-to-market sales engine focused on four key pillars: positioning, demand, nurture, and closing. He discussed the concept of an “always-on” sales engine to prevent the cycle where businesses oscillate between being too busy to sell and panicking due to lack of pipeline: Positioning: Focus on providing solutions to specific problems rather than just listing services. Demand: Move away from bad, AI-written, or thoughtless outreach toward value-based relationship building. Nurturing: Stay in contact with prospects through meaningful content so they remember you when they are ready to buy. Closing: Requires a granular approach to the bottom of the funnel, recognising that many stages exist beyond simply sending a proposal. Ryan also advised that using subject matter experts instead of traditional salespeople for outreach can significantly increasing LinkedIn connection and conversion rates due to the trust it can build with prospects. He said AI agents can be used to scale activity in areas like research, prospecting, and CRM updates once processes are defined, but he warned against using AI to replace human connection. Thankyou to S&W for hosting us. Lots more great events coming up! See the events section on our website. #sales #salestips #Bristol #bristolcreatives #bristolcreativeindustries

They include Nirvana’s first UK headline gig, the creation of IMDb, Aardman’s Creature Comforts, IDLES’ first gig, superhero bionic arms and Sir David Attenborough’s Life on Earth. The activation marks the build-up to Brazen, a five-day festival of technology, creativity and culture taking place across Bristol from 9 to 13 November 2026.
