Sustainability starts with education, and it’s time we talk about how recycling is shaping the future of our neighborhood! ♻️🌍

True change happens when we understand the “why” behind our actions. That’s why Rumpke’s new facility in Linden is such a game-changer for our community. It’s not just a recycling center—it’s an educational hub designed to show students, families, and neighbors exactly how recycling works and why it matters for our planet.

This is a massive win for the ongoing revitalization of Linden. By providing hands-on learning opportunities and showing our youth the value of sustainable habits, we aren’t just cleaning up our streets; we’re building a stronger, more informed, and more connected community.

Let’s take advantage of this resource, teach our neighbors, and keep building a cleaner, brighter Linden together! 🏡✨

Linden just became MORE Beautiful! @cbusndc youth collaborative redesigned the pavilion garden space that has been vacant for quite some years into a beautiful “Serenity Space”. NDC has continued to fulfill the #OneLinden initiative with beautification projects. To see a space designed and develop by youth from our neighborhood is quite REFRESHING because all people seem to show or talk about in the MEDIA is how #Linden is a terrible place. @cbusneighbor is working diligently to change the narrative while offering opportunities! We are thankful for @colsrecparks for the investment of “Green Initiatives.” Also Glennon is one of my favorite peeps! #OneLinden

The Impact of Data Centers on Ohioans

- Economic Growth & Job Creation
- Data centers create a variety of job opportunities in construction, IT, and cybersecurity.
- Increased investment in infrastructure improves local services and connectivity.

- Real Estate & Community Development
- Demand for space near data centers can raise property values, benefiting homeowners but potentially making housing less affordable.

- Environmental Considerations
- Data centers consume significant energy, impacting local resources and costs; renewable energy investments are crucial.
- Ohio has potential to lead in green energy initiatives to balance demand and sustainability.

- Community Engagement & Challenges
- Collaboration among local governments, residents, and businesses is essential to align data center growth with community needs.
- Concerns about traffic, noise, and other disruptions must be addressed through proactive planning and communication.
