Another Sunny Goodwood Track day complete ✅🏁

all the usual suspects there today although sadly for the white Peril it was over before it started 🫣 just as we got the tyres warmed up we got a knocking noise from the rear ns wheel which luckily appears to be just an upper dog bone 🦴 arm which is a very easy £30-50 fix but sadly ended my day ... however the lovely @goodwoodmarshalsclub allowed me to swap cars and jump in Jon's red peril which I warmed up nicely for him to then go on a set a new sub 300hp 996 lap time record of 1.32.76 which is insanely good, man that boy can pedal 💪🏻

so next up is @flat6fm at Bicester so I'll get the white Peril sorted for that plus Spa/nurburgring in just 4 weeks 🏁

I'm sure the white peril will get another shot at a 90 second lap but today just wasn't to be that day 🙄🫣 a few of the other boys also had issues but most importantly everyone made it home and everyone survived & had fun and that's what counts 💕🏁🙏🫶

Early in #porsches #watercooled journey, but it came out of the gates swinging like a #heavyweight

Whether it comes in either ❤️🤍 or 💙🤍 colouring, they’re both GOAT spec, with an engine that is the epitome of motorsport.

Some cars just get under your skin.

You can’t quite define or explain exactly the reasoning for this. But every time your #bum hits the seat, and your hands grasp the #steeringwheel A big, involuntary grin just creeps across your face.

This #996gt2 does this every time for us. Analogue in the perfect ways that early #2000 #modernclassic cars all seem to do so well. Balance, delicacy, true involvement.

With performance that is still relevant when compared to modern machinery… but delivered with big shots of adrenaline too!

One thing we know for a fact… you’ll be able to spot whoever is fortunate enough to be its next keeper, by the comical grin that will reside 24/7 on their face!

This #porsche platform, from its 3.4 origins to its RS pinnacle, is something to behold.

A well sorted and cared for #porsche996 is something every #porschephile should experience in their and every model delivers in a special way.

It might have been born from a commercial need to help save Porsche at the time, but history aside, we’re just glad we have these in our world!

It’s the 30th Anniversary of the model next year, so who’s planning to celebrate this 🎉

Big school boy error! The sun is shining so I took the yellow one to the office to go for a blast through the Beacons on the way home but I forgot they were doing the roof ahhh 🙈😩

#2027 is the 30th anniversary of the #watercooled evolution of the #911

This fine example is right at the pinnacle of 996 model line up.

An RS model, that in our mind, still has a healthy ceiling to grow to. As like its Turbo and GT2 stablemates… the magic of the 996 still isn’t appreciated by all.

But it’s definitely growing #daybyday 💛
