Exciting announcement for all the journaling lovers! This is something we’ve been working on for months. 📝 This fall, we are organizing the first International Journaling Festival in Barcelona. Save the dates! 📍8-10th November 2024 This event will bring some of the most influential people in journaling today together, to support you as a guest in learning, practicing and connecting with like-minded people! Over two days (three for the VIP ticket holders), we will have an opportunity to learn from fantastic teachers through hands-on workshops, with a focus on application. This is not about listening to dry lectures on the theory of journaling — you’re here to write and to put into practice tools that can help you develop yourself, to help you become more aware, and to help you use these tools with others. 👩🏼‍🏫 Whether you’re a therapist, a wellness coach, a writer eager to explore your inner world, or just a journaling fan, come join us in this weekend of healing writing panels and immersive journaling workshops. Learn how to get the most out of your journaling practice from the masters in the field! Soon we will be revealing our guests’ names and the @barcelonajournalingfestival program details – stay tuned! 🎟️ Tickets are out now! Get your early bird offer. *VIP tickets are limited to 20 only. www.barcelonajournalingfestival.com

My experience as @mariselart at @macba_barcelona on 31.03.24 was insane! I want people to know that it was not just to lay down and do nothing for 2 hours, it was the big inner force and work with my mind and my body involved. When Erich Weiss sent me an email with explanations of the performance and invitation for collaboration I was in doubt if I even can make it. I was thrilled and scared at the same time. Because I knew how hard it’s gonna be. I knew that my body would hurt and I would have to be in a battle with my mind. I knew that it’s not just an ordinary performance when you move. It’s a still one. So, I kept silence for a while but my inner artist was so curious and I said yes. Yes to the offer and to the following experience. The day came and I was so excited! A lot of people was there for me, for us! When I was getting my posture I saw the cross on the ceiling… Ester day, what a coincidence! Me was buried under soil… holding a cristal ball for fortune telling. For 2 hours! I started meditating… in 10 minutes I felt that I am getting something like a spirit inside! In Bali they call it “Taksu”, when a performer gets a real inspiration and receives a spirit who starts dancing through her. I felt the same! And the music stopped! The electrical system collapsed! After it was fixed, music continued and in 30 minutes or so the battle started inside of my head that all hurts I can’t stay in the same position any more. But I continued my meditation as I learned in Vipashana Monastery… Closer to the end I felt that I am 🥶! Took me a lot of force not to give up and stay till the end with hidden breathing and without moving but only shivering… People said that they haven’t mentioned… What an experience!!! I did it! And I know now I can do more! My artist is reborn! Be in a museum is a big honour for me! Many tanks to Erich Weiss and everyone who came to support! Video and photo by @darinagottmann
