First post since comp🤣
4 reds each side for ✌️ pulls (220kg), finished out yesterday's session with heavy deads and well pleased with this. Haven't actually done any deadlifts in months so still seeing the number go up is a good feeling.

Last warmup set, 210kg for 2, no belt, no straps. Last time I pulled this was a fully geared top set🤣 this was a +5kg before the final set

Thought I'd throw the 130kg clean and jerk here too so its easy to find. Still pleased about finally hitting this as well. Overhead strength been finally improving😅

125kg finally warm up before the 130kg.

Power clean + push press 105kg
Probably one of the drills thats been pushing the overhead strength recently 🤣 took a close attempt at 110kg after this but no success, maybe soon 👀

🇯🇲 WE DID IT🇯🇲 COMMONWEALTH GAMES 2026!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I picked up a barbell for the first time in July 2014 at Royal Docks CrossFit. I had no idea then how much it would change my life.

My first weightlifting competition came in 2017 at LOWA, and my first Masters competition in 2020.

In 2025, the opportunity to compete as a senior for Jamaica 🇯🇲 arrived, and I jumped at the chance to wear the black, green, and gold.

Qualifying for the 2026 Commonwealth Games is beyond anything I ever imagined.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and believed in me: @mems_weightlifting , @mrbigfriday , @chrisly_weightlifting , @sil_mwlc , @josie.mitchell_sportstherapist , and all my teammates at the club. 🙏🏽❤️

Thank you to @jamaica_weightlifting for giving me the chance to live my dreams 🇯🇲⚡️Looking forward to being supported & coached by @jen_weightlifting once again 💚

To all my friends and family, your love and support carries me 💞 🙏🏽

What a day! Could not be happier with my numbers and had a blast as usual at @npbarbellclub
A huge thank you to @kdotspeed for being a top tier handler, as well as @dariobrownfitnes (as usual) for helping me get to this point, couldn't do any of this without a good coach 🙌
Hope everybody else enjoyed their lifting too (@xo.roisin @x_colette_x)
A day full of vibes and heavy weight, absolutely solid 👌

First properly heavy session of the new year down. Started as a power session and just turned into a snatch max out 🤣 built from 90kg to a PB match at 100kg then a few attempts at 102kg but no luck (this time)

Pleasure as always my bro @dariobrownfitness

YOUNGEST IN CHARGE 🏆💫

Second circuit complete and what a year it has been.
Still not even 2 years of competition already at the top of my division and up there with the best of them 💪🏻

2025 had been full of more wins, learning and gaining valuable experience. Quite often having to give away weight or a few years in age just to get a decent fight. Dominated Muay Thai, transitioned into K1 and having my first few head contact fights in the process 🥊

Only just turned 10 years old and been competing for 21 months and acquiring a total of 21 titles now from area to world champion 🔥

This year i have become 👇🏼

WKO ENGLISH CHAMPION 🥇
AMATEUR RULES WORLD OPEN CHAMPION 🥇
3X WKO EUROPEAN CHAMPION 🥇🥇🥇
SKS BRITISH CHAMPION 🥇
WKO K1 NATIONAL CHAMPION 🥇
WKO K1 WORLD CHAMPION 🥇
2X WKO GRAND PRIX CHAMPION 🥇🥇
AFSO/AFMO CENTRAL AREA CHAMPION 🥇

Thank you to every single person who has helped me develop my skills and abilities this year i appreciate you all 🙌🏼

Thank you to all my sponsors for your continuous support and contributions for whatever i need whenever i need it 🙏🏼

Still learning, still growing, still improving and still have alot of time to get even better without a doubt 👌🏼

2026 ready for another big year 😎

💯🏋‍♂️

Hit a big goal yesterday, one I said I wanted since I first landed a 100kg clean and jerk. I'm so proud of this as you can probably tell from the reaction, thankfully the cam didn't pick up my entire celebration🤣

But I actually PB'd both of my lifts this session, managing a 125kg clean and jerk too after only hitting 122kg the other week. So I'll be going into 2026 with numbers that I am so, so proud of.

I also realised this has accidentally turned into nothing but a training log🤣 so we'll see if that stays the same, because I do other things as well. I promise 🤣
