Our client Daron took his signature Solo BBQ Series on the road with Ocean Spray!

For the debut of Ocean Spray’s limited-edition Cranberry Cider, Daron headed straight to the cranberry bog, turning his signature series into a “Solo Trip to the Bog.” He transformed the new cider into a mocktail and paired it with a surf & turf spread, bringing his own spin to a quintessential Ocean Spray experience. Loved helping to bring this partnership to life.

Going hard, slowing down, then finding your way back to it, Daron knows the cycle. 😮‍💨 Life may be life-ing behind the scenes, but the goal is still the GOAL. Sometimes you just gotta roll with the punches and keep it pushing. 💯

@daronthechef gets real about the journey on #MY24. His full episode is out now on BET’s YouTube channel.

🍽️ Day 23 of 30 — The Cooking Marathon Continues! 🇭🇹🍜

On tonight’s menu: Haitian-Style Lo Mein

I saw someone make lo mein on Instagram, and I knew I had to try my own version. Now listen… instead of beef (because I’m not really a beef girl like that), I had some leftover goat at home 🫣 I’m Haitian! Don’t judge me, judge your mama 😂🇭🇹

🛒 Ingredients:
Regular noodles (substituted for lo mein noodles), leftover goat, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, green onion, carrots, broccoli, bell pepper, sesame oil

it came together:
✨ Boiled the noodles until just tender, then set aside
✨ Sautéed garlic and ginger in oil until fragrant
✨ Added the leftover goat and let it heat through
✨ Added carrots, broccoli, and bell pepper, stir-frying until slightly softened
✨ Tossed in the noodles with soy sauce and a drizzle of sesame oil, mixing everything together
✨ Finished with green onion on top

When I tell you this was the BEST lo mein I’ve ever had, I mean it. This is exactly why I’m so picky when I eat out… I’ll see something online, go home, make it myself, and end up shocking my own self every time 😩🔥

Tagging the creator who inspired this because credit is always due @daronthechef but of course I had to add my own little Haitian twist 😉

7 more days left in this marathon, and I cannot wait to see it through.

Like, share, comment, save and welcome to everyone who’s joined since Day 1. What should I make next? 👀

Garlic Parmesan Wings for Wing Wednesday 🤤 I made these once before and they were way too good not to run back. Crispy, seasoned wings tossed in buttery garlic parsley sauce and finished with Parmesan…definitely one I had to make again.
