Cannot even tell you how proud I am of @darrylmabey for launching his new collection last night. He’s been working diligently behind the scenes for almost a year and a half on this project and you can see the attention to detail in every part of it. As an artist it’s sometimes hard to know when inspiration will strike but I have seen him set aside time to create so many nights and I can’t tell you how inspiring that is for me. A true artist in every sense of the word.

So many friends came out to support, it was so heartwarming!! Thanks to everyone who showed up and took a piece of Darryl’s art home. @mabeyitsart

If you want a print of any of the COLOURFUL MIND pieces we have 11x14s for $60 and 8x10s for $40. Which one is your fave???? The pieces will be on display at Pegasus for 6 weeks, if you’re in the village you have to stop by and check them out.

Nine years living in Toronto and finally experienced a premiere at @tiff_net. “The Debut” is unhinged and brilliant, anyone with even a tiny bit of theatre kid inside them is going to adore it. And how gorgeous is my date!! 74 months with @darrylmabey this weekend and we are just getting started. Now make sure you all start your day with potassium tomorrow!

Two weeks later and I’m still trying to find the words. ❤️

Six days. 600+ kilometres (Toronto to Montreal- Aug 2-7). Rain, exhaustion, laughter, new friendships, old friends, sore legs, and more memories than I could ever fit into one caption.

Riding the @f4lbr for a second year was incredibly special, but this year felt different.

The first day and a half definitely challenged us. The rain came down hard, our campsite flooded on the first night, and I apparently decided I was one of those people who sleeps outside. 😂 But even in those moments, we were never on our own.

The incredible Rally volunteers took care of us every step of the way keeping us safe, fed, supported and moving forward. So much work happens behind the scenes to make six days and 600+ kilometres possible, and I’m incredibly grateful to every person who gave their time to make this experience what it was.

This year, I also had the privilege of riding alongside some incredible women of @saddlesisterscycling and watching the community grow with so many amazing women joining the Rally. I met new people on Team Cheekier Chains 🍑⛓️, reconnected with familiar faces, and continued working alongside the Rally Steering Committee. Every part of the experience reminded me how powerful this community really is.

And then there was the fundraising.

Over $1.9 MILLION+ raised!! ❤️

Our Rally community didn’t just reach our goal, we surpassed it, all in support of people living with HIV/AIDS.

To everyone who donated, shared my fundraiser, checked in on me, cheered me on, followed along, or simply asked how I was doing…thank you.

Six days. 600+ km. A whole lot of memories.

And somehow, I’m already looking forward to doing it all over again.

Until next year. 🚴🏽‍♀️❤️
