If you’re at the beginning of something new, these are what I wish I learned sooner rather than later. Experience teaches lessons no business book ever could.

1. Some opportunities are expensive even when they pay well. Not every client, project, or partnership deserves a yes. Protect your time, energy, and standards. This one is hard. Many times you want to say yes to things that don’t align, just remember every time you say yes to things that drain you, the things you truly want normally wait for you on the sideline until you draw a line in the sand.

2. Stop waiting until everything looks perfect. Launch the website. Post the content. Share the idea. You can improve things as you go. Getting bogged down in tiny details will absolutely hinder your growth or won’t even let you start.

3. Build something that supports the life you want. Success isn’t just revenue or recognition. It’s having the freedom to enjoy what you’re working so hard for. Everyone’s version of success may look different, but it’s important to establish what that means to you early on.

4. You don’t have to personally do everything to prove you’re capable. Delegating isn’t losing control. It’s creating room to focus on what matters most. This was the longest one to learn but turns out I just had to find the right people 🤍

And one more thing...
You’re going to figure out more than you think you ever could along the way. Just keep going.
