Skeleton is such an amazing sport and I'm so glad it's now a part of my life. This is my first ever run in a competition against Team Canada Skeleton. This was such an amazing experience and thank you to everyone who made it happen.

Thank you @rbctrainingground and @bobsleighcanskeleton

Calgary Skeleton Push camp trip of August 4th-10th (my first time traveling alone btw, lwk very fun). I wish I had videos or pictures of me pushing but oh well. Maybe I'll have some next time (Whistler perhaps?). Despite going to the camp, I'm sadly not eligible to continue with RBC training grounds this year since I am way too broke to drop another $1500 on the driving school within the span of 3 days since being back.

I do think I'll try to continue training in this amazing sport though so I definitely want to thank everyone at @bobsleighcanskeleton for introducing all of us recruits to the amazing sport of skeleton and to all the coaches who pushed us to improve and supported us throughout the 5 days of camp. And of course, thank you to @rbctrainingground for the amazing opportunity once more.

For those who didn't know, I was picked as a candidate to participate in the sport-specific for skeleton following the first event on March 22nd. This is why I went down to Waterloo to take part in the summer introduction push camp down in Waterloo (QC) this weekend.

You can see my last, and proudest push of the weekend here. I do have a long way to go before I can even say I'm decent at this, but I'll still try my best to keep working hard so that I can move on to national finals.

Thank you to @bobsleighcanskeleton and @rbctrainingground for this amazing opportunity and I wish good luck to all the other athletes moving forward.

An appreciation post for the team of coaches and staff whose work goes far beyond the Olympic stage. They grind day in and day out, season after season, to help us become the best versions of ourselves.

Thank you for standing by me since day 1, fighting for our program, the countless memories, and for the endless hours you stand in the freezing cold. Skeleton Canada is lucky to have you 🇨🇦❤️

Happy National Coaches Week to these special people. It's hard to describe the impact they have had on my life, but just know it reaches well beyond the ice. They've shown me the type of person I should strive to be and have supported me through my highs and lows since I was 14. They inspire me every day and continue to go above and beyond for our sport and their communities. Beyond grateful I have gotten to call them my coaches for so long🫶🇨🇦🥹
