🎶From the northwest corner… We’re so incredibly Grateful to @jayblakesberg and his team for coming to Bend and turning their lens toward High Desert Law—not simply toward the lawyers, but toward the clients, families, and stories that give this work its meaning. All the years combine in a photograph: what someone has lived through, who stood beside them, and the road that brought them here. Jay has a rare gift for seeing all of that in a single frame. Listening for the secret, searching for the sound, Jay knew where to look. He saw beyond the surface and captured the people, connection, resilience, and heart of HDL. Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile. Thank you, Jay, for a real good time. 🎶📷⚡️ #JayBlakesberg #GratefulDead #BendOregon #HighDesertLaw #Photography

As we come to the end of this year, I’m honored to have served as 2024 Oregon State Bar president during a time that has called on us all to adapt, evolve and envision new paths forward for our profession. The year has brought unique challenges and incredible progress, and looking back allows me to appreciate the strides we’ve made together. It’s been a year of collaboration, growth and renewed vision for the bar, and I am both proud and grateful to have been part of it. I have immense gratitude to the members of the Board of Governors, who have tirelessly guided and supported our collective mission and as I look toward the future of the OSB, I am overjoyed that this work will continue to flourish in the capable hands of Myah Kehoe who will soon take this baton. Meet our teachers ✨ Dave Rosen “I started practicing yoga coincidentally around the same time I started practicing law. I never made much of it until I started to realize that my work - which is always in process - was to take the practice of yoga off the mat and into the rest of my life.” David completed his 500-hour RYT at Groove with Rolf Gates and has practiced at Groove since 2010. David’s practice and teaching is focused on the breath and the connection between the breath we are taking and the larger source of life we all share (like the wave that recognizes it’s the ocean). During the day, David works to be the best personal injury attorney for his clients, empowering individuals to build positive change after trauma. David’s work on the connection between law and mindfulness practices has been recognized statewide, presenting to both lawyers and judges who work throughout all of Oregon. In 2024, David serves as the President of the Oregon State Bar.

Summer has ended. What better way to start adapting to the cold weather than deliberate cold exposure! The myriad of other benefits from cold exposure are the other reason people come back. Or, it’s just that awesome of a community!!! I’m leaning towards the awesome community🙌🏼❤️ Thanks as always to @bluecubebaths ! Can also rely on them for breaking that barrier❄️🌊🫧 @iceman_hof @xptlife #coldplunge #bendoregon #bendlifestyle #biohackingbend #breathwork #community
