Starting shark week 2026 with one of my fave sharks…the tiger sharks.

Tiger sharks are nicknamed the “garbage cans of the ocean”
Young tiger sharks have darker stripes that fade as they get older.

Tiger season here in Hawai’i just started and so far had been amazing. Come join @hawaiiadventurediving for your next shark tour

Hiking 10 miles through the Arizona desert was an adventure in itself. But seeing the impossibly blue waters of Havasu Falls is something no photo can truly capture. It was a reward unlike any other.

Havasu Falls is more than a breathtaking destination. It is part of the ancestral homeland of the Havasupai people, who have lived in and cared for the canyon for countless generations. For them, the waters and land hold deep cultural and spiritual significance. Visiting here was a privilege, not an entitlement. We all have a responsibility to respect the land, honor the people who call it home, and leave it exactly as we found it.

This was such an awesome experience! I loved basically being by ourselves all morning, on the lake and in the slot canyon. 1.5 hour kayak > 1 hour hike into canyon > 1 hour hike out > 1.5 hour Kayak.
