School’s DONE.

I can’t believe it. I feel so proud of you and how hard you’ve worked, how much you’ve embraced and how much you’ve grown through it all.
Always a team player, always a problem solver, always respected and respectful, you are a light-bearer and this is how you find your people.

By effort you achieve. Now don’t forget to apply this effort to maintain the wonderful friendships you have built at school.

My first Grand Slam ☺️. At the beautiful Pilliga Ultra event.

I had a running goal for this year to go back to the true grass root Trail running events, and to run with my dog Safi. I found The Pilliga Ultra by @forwildplaces, a charity dedicated to make a difference and be a loud voice for the protection of the wild.
I love that! In my 12 years of being smitten with the adventures of trail running, I have also seen the change and commercialisation taking too strong of a hold.

So off me, Dave and Safi went to the beginning of the outback, an often overlooked part of New South Wales. The huge area which is the Pilliga forest is under threat from coal gas mining, as the fossil-fuel giant Santos is planning to build 850 gas wells through the forest.
This charity gives all funds raised back to the community groups and organisations working hard to protect the area.

FRIDAY: 10km run with Dave + Safi. Dave was amazing. It was super technical, 98% single track and extremely tricky to run with Safi on a lead but she did cross the finish line as the winning dog. 🥇
Live music, yummy dinner, meeting lovely people and watching the sky full of stars was our night with the temperature dropping to-2. 🥶

SATURDAY was my solo 50km run. It started on frosty grounds but rose to +33 within hours. It was the toughest 50km I’ve run due to the heat, for sure. And getting lost. And the fact that I did 53.5km 🤪. Great support from Dave and Safi 🫶! I’ve never been so close to crying in an ultra marathon before and all by the very thought of running again the following day!!

But I think the amazing pizza @pilligapottery fixed it all and the SUNDAY 20km was in fact the most enjoyable run of them all! 👌

What a great experience this was and I’m stoked that my love for trail running can be done with a greater purpose; to help protect our precious planet we get to live on!

After nearly a decade of blood, sweat and beers.

It’s time for me to hand over the keys and take a backseat, and watch the boys take this thing global from the sidelines.

What started as beers in a garage has turned into something I’m genuinely proud of — and that’s down to the people around me.

To Emily and Billie — thank you for backing me through everything. The long hours away, the risks, the chaos… none of it happens without you.

Brendan, Rog, Jaz and Pete — you backed me from the start and made the dream a reality. I’m forever grateful.

I couldn’t feel better about where things are at. The business is in great hands with Matt Bruhn and the team, who’ve taken it to become the biggest Australian-owned beer in the USA in under 12 months. Let’s f*ckn go!

To everyone who’s supported us along the way — venues, customers, mates — YKWYA. Thank you. You helped build something special and we’ll continue to make great beer.

Don’t Cha!.🎣🏝️

2025 was a year of growth, wipeouts, wins, and unforgettable moments in the water and on land.
Huge thank you to all my sponsors for believing in me, my family for the endless support, and my friends for keeping me grounded and pushing me every step of the way. None of this happens alone. On to 2026!🙏🏻
