Special work and placements for this special fella. It is always so hard to put these experiences into words, how the work unfolds and the synchronistic experiences that validate what you already know.
Immense gratitude for the wonderul crew at @ninthwavetattoo and for the tattoo family that is there. Special thanks to @daveshoemaker for the warm welcomes and tranquil environment, and to the amazing @lauratat_ for the pictures that are way better than the ones that I make!
Ill be back in October!

Michael was kind enough to meet up with me so I could photograph his healed arm. My friend @daveshoemaker came down over the winter and helped with the second session where we got all the heavy black done.
This is a style of tattooing that i really enjoy and would love to explore more. Let me know if you want some heavy black!
Thanks for your strength Michael! It was great to see you! Until next time

This past weekend, Instructor Jon Hem led our team through our very first studio wood firing! 🔥

Countless hours of making, hundreds of pots, and a whole lot of sweat went into this incredible event. After months of preparation and anticipation, the kiln is now cooling and we’re anxiously awaiting the big unload this coming weekend.

We can’t wait to see what the fire has created. 🏺🔥

We’re pleased to offer @signeceramic’s beautiful pieces in the shop. Sarah is based in Brooklyn and creates hand-built porcelain and stoneware pieces as a basic need to play with forms and shapes. The striations and subtle marbling in many of her pieces are due to the wedging process she uses to mix her clay bodies. DM us or visit for more info or shipping.
