The Northern Maine Pioneers are excited to welcome 2006 forward David Artenosi back for the 2026-27 season.

After becoming a fan favorite during our inaugural season, David returns for his final year of junior hockey, bringing leadership, grit, and a team-first mentality to the lineup.

Head Coach Jack Lowry on David’s return: “We’re thrilled to have Dave back with the Pioneers. He embodies everything we’re building here in Presque Isle. Dave is a hard-nosed player who does whatever it takes to help the team succeed. He’s highly motivated, leads by example, and has become a respected voice in our locker room. It didn’t take long for him to become a fan favorite last season, and we’re excited to see him play a major role in what we believe will be a special season.”

David is ready to get back to work: “I’m excited to be back with a great group of guys and coaches for my final season of juniors. I can’t wait to play in front of our fans again and give everything we’ve got for this community. I’m looking forward to getting back to work and making this a season to remember.”

Welcome back to The County, David.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads!
Being a father is one of life’s greatest gifts, and I am truly grateful for the privilege. Today, we celebrate the love, guidance, and support that fathers provide every day. I am incredibly proud of my children and thankful for the joy they bring to my life.

Wishing all fathers a wonderful Father’s Day filled with love, appreciation, and special moments with family. 💙👨‍👧‍👦

Today is a special day for everyone—it’s Christmas. But for me, it’s even more special. On December 25, 2006, my two sons, David and Andrew, were born. They are my best friends, and I am beyond proud of the young men they are becoming.

May God bless you both always, and may your lives be filled with growth, purpose, and upward momentum. Happy birthday, my sons. ❤️
