POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s been a busy September for the Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust and our patient advocates.

Over the past two weeks, the charity has been represented at BioMedEng26, the UK Aortic Society Annual Meeting, Global Aorta Symposium, the Interdisciplinary Aortic Dissection Symposium and AORTIC LIVE.

Many of these events included dedicated lived experience sessions delivered by the charity and our education team. These sessions bring the realities of aortic dissection into clinical, surgical and research discussions, helping ensure that conversations about improving care remain grounded in what matters most to patients and families.

A huge thank you to our patient advocates for sharing their experiences, and to the event organisers for recognising the importance of including the patient voice.

And September isn’t over yet, with more events still to come, the charity will continue bringing patients and professionals together, raising awareness and pushing for change 👉 tadct.org/events

Really excited for tonight's event. Its been a while so nerves are running a little higher than normal. It will also be a great opportunity to network with more local creatives, listen to other people's work and to see if we can help one another...not forgetting a shandy in the evening sun....if you are in the area and/or there are any tickets available, come and say hello! 🐉❤️🙏😎🙏❤️🐉

I know clips in reels should be short to capture attention, but like Drift sings in the middle of this reel, "Truth Takes Time", and Kollab isn't about rushing. And all these folk are too good not to listen to for a moment. Thanks again to all the stars at September Kollab, can't wait to see what October has in store for us. Join us on the 19th in Shoreham, and 30th in Brighton!

(Sorry Naomi Wood I was listening too hard to remember to film you! 🤩)

You smashed it out the park! What a brilliant eclectic energetic spell-binding night! Lots of new faces and old friends, thanks for bringing your whole September selves, while the wind swirled around us. Poetry, music, old hats and first timers AND tap-dancing! (Swipe to the end). I'm still buzzing now 🔥
See you again on October 19th x

Switzerland 2025 🇨🇭

I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent time training and racing in 3 competitions in Switzerland this year!

Plenty learnt over the past few weeks, a lot of valuable time spent on the track, training and racing.
Debuting my new race chair, reaching a new top speed on the track and driving to Europe… lots to be proud of!

To support and be a part of this amazing set of competitions as always, is real privilege.

Excited to continue the race season, next stop Stoke Mandeville….
