Life Time Big Sugar 50 — What a way to wrap up gravel racing season! 🚴‍♂️🍁

Of the three gravel races I lined up for this year, Big Sugar was BY FAR the most fun! And crushing my goal time by almost 45 minutes certainly didn’t hurt! 💪

Oh, and apparently the Big Sugar “50” is actually just shy of 58 miles. Guess those extra 8 miles were complimentary! 😂

Who knew spending the summer chasing middle and high school kids around NICA race courses would turn out to be such great training? Apparently, those kids have been making me faster all season!

After a season of ups, downs, and a few disappointments, it feels pretty damn good to finish on a high note.

Bonus celebrity sighting — spotted @davidjarthur in the hotel lobby! 👀🚴‍♂️

Huge thanks to @nmaverett for all the support, encouragement, and motivation throughout the season. And, of course, for driving me to the start line! ❤️

Three gravel races. Plenty of lessons learned. One heck of a way to finish the season!

In founding Bridge in 2020, Mike Yukobowicz and Frank Gairdner did something brave and ambitious: they set out to manufacture the Surveyor all-road bike in their home city of Toronto. An easier route to market would have been to work with one of the many experienced manufacturers in Asia, but they say it was not a consideration for them.

‘Making the Surveyor ourselves was important from the beginning,’ says Gairdner. ‘We believed that if we did this the hard way, the knowledge gained would improve not only the product quality but also the surrounding community we could build. We wanted to support high-skilled jobs in manufacturing locally instead of outsourcing them.’

The result is undoubtedly not the cheapest way to do it, but brings with it several advantages – developmental agility, improved quality control and complete design oversight.

I fear I am letting some of you down with this one, somewhere along the voice over process I realized in depth bike education was not my strong suit...

If you are craving an in depth tutorial check out @davidjarthur

@svenja__betz won the Unbound XL on the new @guavabikes Ace. So here is a quick reel of our trip to Girona to test it out, although perhaps not so fast as Svenja!
