A little bts from the test run for something new this weekend. 📸

For a short window during @partyatthepenshow, I’ll be stepping away from my usual portraits and offering mug shot tintypes inside the @oldidahopenitentiary .

I’d say it’s going to be one hell of a keepsake.

If things go well this weekend with this set up, I’ll consider dedicating more hours to shooting this way next year 🤘🏼

Thank you @davidkelly.co @heelgrabber850 & @stephen.james13 for helping me create these on that very hot humid day.

GAME TIME 💪🏻🔥

Today, these guys step onto the national stage for the first time.

I’ve put them through the wringer even when they were exhausted, even when they felt like they had nothing left. Because finding another level when you’re tired, uncomfortable, and ready to stop is what separates the elite in this sport.

The work is done. Now it’s time to show everyone what we came here for. 💯

I’m really excited about this one!

For my 5th year at @partyatthepenshow, I’m adding something new to the usual single & couple tintypes:

MUG SHOT TINTYPES.

These are some working examples of what I’m putting together. The final piece will be a 5x7 tintype with two images, mounted in an 8x10 mug shot-style info card with fingerprints and all.

There will only be a limited number of mug shot spots available.

Sign-ups go live tomorrow, August 26 at 3pm Eastern.

I’ll see yinz in Boise!
