📸🎥 April’s Activities 1 - Got caught reading @brunellocucinelli’s thought provoking book - in front of Teatro Cucinelli in beautiful @solomeoofficial. I recommend you check out both the book and the venue! 2 - The calm hamlet of Solomeo. 3 - Hang with my dear @anastasiakobekina ahead of her fab concert at @filarmonica_trento with the super group that is @ilpdo. 4 - When in Trento, go eat at @osteriailcappello. Tante volte! 5 - Hosted a first spontaneous get together at the fantastic @fideliocafe in London. Thank you for your generosity, dear @raffomorales, here’s to many more! 6 - IAMA Conferences aren’t complete without early morning runs - great to see so many friendly faces and already looking forward to Tallinn in 2026! 7 - Impromptu educational trip to Catania with my sforzato co-founders Christopher & Jonathan: focus subjects included sea food and natural wine. 8 - Not quite all bottles were emptied right before I took this photo. Had a great lunch at @mecumparituriddu! 9 - Great to catch up, dear Antonia @paulusmusiccopenhagen at @francescotristanoofficial’s show with the @bambergsymphony! 10 - April ended with a bang! 💥 #davidsdearest

For #WorldBookDay, I want to shine a light on “The Earth to the Skies“ by my friend @raffomorales: a work of historical fiction that reimagines the lives of Gustav Mahler and Sigmund Freud in bold, unexpected ways. This is not a biography, but a bold fictional tale: Mahler, haunted by visions of death, entrusts his newborn son to Freud, believing psychoanalysis might shape him into the savior of music. The story follows this imagined son, Moses, through the grandeur of Vienna’s salons and the brutality of WWII, as he faces love, beauty, survival, and the haunting legacy of his father’s dreams. Raffaello, the brilliant founder behind @fideliocafe and @fideliorchestra, is someone whose ideas on presenting classical music in the 21st century never cease to inspire me. This novel reveals yet another facet of his creativity. If you’re drawn to historical fiction that blends music, psychoanalysis, and the turbulence of history, this is one to pick up! 📸: @suminastuder 🙏🏼 #davidsdearest

POV: Two of us are spectacular pianists, while one of us should really consider ironing his shirt! 😂✌️ In my personal opinion, @alicesaraott_official and @francescotristanoofficial are very much leading the field when it comes to driving the change in classical music, challenging the status quo of piano solo shows and constantly coming up with unique and thoroughly thought through curations of music in their recitals. Francesco performed two superb sets at @bergson Munich this past weekend. His perspectives on Bach yesterday afternoon also featured a remix of “In The Beginning Was“ (slide 2) which he wrote for Alice and which opens her superb album “Echoes Of Life“ and the related live experience. Head over to Alice’s profile for more details and of course listen to the album! While Alice and Francesco just teamed up again for duo concerts in London in Paris earlier this month, you can catch them independently here next: Alice performs Grieg’s Piano Concerto at @buehnenbern on Thursday and Friday before returning to Paris with Liszt Piano Concerto No. 2 together with @orchestrenationaldefrance on JUN 20. Francesco does more of his piano-electronic fusion magic at @schlosselmau this coming Friday and on Saturday w/ @julienquentinofficial before before appearing at @klavierfestival on JUN 06. Catch them, if you can! 📸: @maximilianmaiermoderator #davidsdearest #alicesaraott #francescotristano #sforzato
