the darkness that gives life and takes life
and gives life again.
the knowing beyond measured time.

the ancient power.

ancient power, our title track and the nucleus of this collection of prayers, is streaming in the rivers of creation. may it garnish your kink, may it locate you.

in the spirit of pluto leaving capricorn

tits out y’all:
banners of radical love so so high
look your ancestors in the eye
bow down to what is wild

let the indigenous memory of the land you live with push you free

Have had the most wholesome summer visiting friends new and old, family, loved ones, and home. Too many good moments to include them all.

Thank you to @acreresidency and @mildredslane for the gifts of time, space, and a few dozen brilliant minds to remind me that generosity takes many forms.

the intro track to the ‘ancient powers’ ep and the first song i wrote while learning to play the minologue during my residency in bisbee, az. i sat and stared at the keys and cried, thinking i couldn’t write music. i didn’t know notes or chords and the muse was never going to show up. the tears brought me to the moment, to what was needing to be felt. and the song was eased into form and i felt awash with the miracle of creation

thank you @be.what.you.need for lending ‘calcination’ to this kinfyre 🖌️

wetiko: the Algonquin word for the highly contagious and cannibalistic mind-virus that will destroy and consume everything and everyone on this blue-green earth until all that is left is white-phosphorus and ash.

to all the babies of all the creatures: every tiny hand, fin, paw, wing, tendril and leaf: you have my heart, my devotion, my art.

to all of those who identify as mother. now is the time to wield your world-making power.

during Liberia’s second civil war the women went on a hunger strike and a sex strike and said that there would be no more Liberians if the war continued. remember your power.

deep indigo thanks to @davidsinclairrobison @escuby.wav @alex.gardner.11 for helping me divinate this anthemic prayer to protect the innocence of creation and declare to what haunts the white european lineage and all it touches: nothing less than regenerative miracles are allowed through our double-helix any longer

endless praise and a bow to the the intuitive and purely magical painter @be.what.you.need for sharing their piece with me, ‘compassion of dawn’

song will appear on bandcamp this friday.
no money made from this song will stay with me but will be sent along to @pal.humanity
