Soooo, my weekend was pretty epic!! Not only did I get to attend my first-ever @fanexpodallas event, but I was lucky enough to meet one of my favorite actors - @josephquinn !! That's right, I got to meet Mr. Eddie Munson himself, and it was a moment I will never forget. There were some issues apparently that made him late that day (according to one of the Expo crew members), and there were so many people there to see him, so his handlers rushed us all through pretty quickly. But I can say that from the moment he made eye contact with you, it was as if you were the only person in the room, and he had your undivided attention. He made me feel so welcome and that he was just as happy for me to be there as I was. His "Hi, hello, how are you? and "It's so lovely to see you!" welcomed me like I was seeing an old friend, and as I left, he thanked me for coming to see him and how lovely it was to see me. I can honestly say that, just like @jensenackles , he is even more of an awesome human than I hoped he'd be. So thoughtful, friendly, caring, and warm!! I know anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting him will understand what I am trying to say (I know @shaunasmagicalworld will). He is so awesome, and to borrow a line from Taylor Swift, I was truly enchanted to meet him!!

Joseph, thank you so much for simply being the amazing, beautiful human you are! I truly hope you know how much YOU mean to all of us. Also, thank you for bringing to life one of the most incredible characters to ever grace the screen. Eddie means so much to so many people, and that is all because of you. 💚

I would also love to thank the staff and crew of @fanexpodallas . As I said, this was my first Fan Expo event, but it was also my first ever comic-con event of any sort, and I'm so glad we chose this one. The staff was so friendly, super helpful, and we had a blast. We can't wait to go back!!

And last not certainly not least, I definitely want to thank my best friend, @jonathanorear , who called me up and asked: "Hey, how about we get out of town, go to Dallas and meet Joseph Quinn. You wanna?" Thank you, Jonathan!!

Happy #JensenAcklesAppreciationDay !!
Fun Fact : @jensenackles and I have the same birthday. Yup - he's my favorite actor of all time, co-leads my favorite band of all time, and we have the same birthday - how cool is that?! And to top it off he's not only uber-talented, but he's truly one of the kindest humans you'll ever meet. I know this first-hand as I met him back in June of 2019. I looked a hot mess by the time I got up to him, was a nervous wreck - I was so star struck. Despite that, he was so kind to me and actually thanked me for coming to see him. He's truly awesome!! I get to meet him again in April at the Family Reunion, and I'm hoping I can actually speak this time ( I guess you could say it's one of my birthday wishes ).

Happy Birthday Jensen!! I hope your day is nothing less than spectacular, full of everything that makes you happy, and that all of your wishes come true!!

I hope everyone had the most amazing Hocus Pocus weekend!! How many times have y'all seen Hocus Pocus 2 so far? Did you love it? I've seen it twice so far & I loved every minute of it!! The sequel stayed true to the original & the performances were top notch!! I mean, was there any doubt?! Bette, Sarah, Kathy & Doug are phenomenal as always, and the new cast of characters were awesome and fit right in! And those girls that played the young versions of Winifred, Sarah & Mary were amazing! Everyone was great - I absolutely loved it!!

The above photos are from the second "watch party" I attended with Jonathan. Our work schedules didn't permit us to decorate much for it, but we had great food & had a blast watching it together. I was pretty in love with my outfit too, details of which are below. I normally hate posting pics of myself, but we had such a great time, I decided why not ( I'm so not photogenic, but I guess I look how I look, lol & Jonathan still has his beard from his last movie project, so it stars in our pics as well!).

Thank you, @jonathanorear, for an awesome movie night!!!

While meeting Jensen, I couldn't speak, but when I met Danneel, it was the exact opposite. I mean, I was still nervous, but she has this way about her that makes you feel like you're talking with a friend you've had for years. Not only is she beautiful & talented, but she's one of the sweetest, nicest, kindest, most down to earth people you'll ever hope to meet! Jonathan & I have had the pleasure of meeting her twice now & she hung out & chatted with us like she had known us for years (she even remembered me from the first meeting & where I worked)! She's as beautiful on the inside as she is out, and everything we all hope she'd be!! Happy Birthday Danneel, I hope your day is nothing less than fabulous!!

I've always said the fact that Jensen Ackles (my favorite actor of all time) & I were born on the same day was the most awesome thing about my birthday. I'm wrong though. The fact that so many people would take time out of their day just to think about me & wish me a happy birthday... that's the most awesome thing! I love you all & thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

(But I gotta say, sharing my birthday with Jensen Ackles is still majorly awesome though!! 😊😉😊)

Today is special for many reasons, but for me it's because today happens to be the birthday of the 2 guys in the picture - myself & Jensen Ackles. I mean, how cool is it to share your birthday with your favorite entertainer of all time? Indescribably cool! Jensen is not only uber-talented (actor, singer, musician, writer, director, producer, the list goes on) but he is truly one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. I was lucky enough to meet him in June 2019, and even though I was so star-struck I couldn't really speak to him, he was so incredibly kind & we took this picture. He looks amazing as always, I look a mess, but I think the smile on my face says it all. They say you should never meet your heroes, your favorites, etc., because you'll be disappointed. Well, in the case of Jensen, that couldn't be farther from the truth. He is incredibly kind, friendly, caring - he truly cares about his fans. He's everything you'd hope he would be and more. I'm truly hoping I get to meet him again (and hopefully I can talk to him and not look such a mess in our next picture, lol). Happy Birthday Jensen! I hope your day is just as awesome as you are, and full of everything that makes you happy!!

About last Sunday... last weekend my best friend & I took a road trip to one of our most favorite places in the world - Family Business Beer Company. The weather was perfect, the setting as beautiful & peaceful as always. Samantha Lee provided live music (she & her band are out of this world by the way!) And the craft beer & craft pizza were delicious as always! (OK - so I drank Diet Coke - I was DD). Gino Graul & the gang at FBBC really know how to make you feel welcome!! It was an awesome trip (I even found a book I was looking for on the way) and we can't wait to go back!
