Fractions of Life Records are proud to announce the 15th anniversary reissue of one of the most unique and influential EPs in the genre: the Self Titled release by We Came Out Like Tigers.

Personally, this band and their discography had a huge influence on my musical taste in the early 2010s. I still remember how excited I was when I got the /25 wooden box set of Agelessness and Lack from Dog Knights Productions. Their unconventional, genre-blending approach to Screamo has always fascinated me, and this EP remains one of my all-time top 3 favorites alongside Suis La Lune’s Heir and Envy’s Abyssal.

What I love most about this release is that, despite its short runtime, it is packed with unforgettable ideas, twists, and melodies that have stayed with me for years. Through a perfect combination of violin, clean vocals, and Folk-infused Screamo mixed with Black Metal and Post-Rock elements, the EP delivers a remarkably beautiful explosion of anger, sorrow, and desperation - ultimately ending with a strange sense of relief.

Originally released as a 7”, the EP now receives the royal treatment as a one-sided 12” vinyl edition featuring an exclusive new cover artwork by Shapefromhell.
