2) A Little Life: Because, well, no matter what you do, you’ll never forget the havoc it wreaked on your lachrymal glands 🫠
3) The Sell Out: exceptional writing and witty beyond measure
4) The Nutmeg’s Curse: A must-read Parable covering colonialism, globalization and climate change in such an evocative enlightening way
5) Homegoing: Moving, Maddening and so expansive

What could possibly happen when two lifelong bestfriend book girlies (yes we have known each other since Kindergarten) ask their husbands to guess the titles of some of their favorite books?
Chaos & Hilarity.

We have favorites like Jennifer Wood’s “My Minotaur Romance” or “Moo Moo Milkers”
• Actually titled Screwed by the Minotaur

Lost’s husband’s response had me dying. His first guess had been Morning Glory Milking Farm just to be cheesy… we told him no—make an actual guess LOL.

Then we moved on to Meg Aliven’s “The Vampire Nextdoor” or “My Vampire Boyfriend”
• Actually titled Hunt
These guesses weren’t too bad!

Ari Wright’s “A Hunk for Christmas” or “White Girl, White Christmas”
• Actually titled Her Knotty List
These had us dying.

Casey Blair’s “Tea and Princesses” or “Rub Me”
• Actually titled A Coup of Tea
Not everything is extra spicy, Mr. Lostinomegapages ;)

Lana Kole’s “Alpha Daddy” or “Dark Secrets”
Now it’s our turn to giggle at Mr. DawnofSpice… though this book does contain an Alpha Daddy of sorts. 😏
