POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Wow! The @liamlawson30 @yukitsunoda0511 story really got everyone talking on my socials yesterday so let me know what you think of my extended thoughts and reply’s to your responses! I’ll also add that I think RedBulls driver development approach WAS Gold Class, it was always a blood bath of drivers needing to perform or risk being brutally dropped which obviously showed outstanding weeding of talent. I’d argue now that it’s just as much of a blood bath without the upside and has become more and more toxic. Something or someone in that organisation needs to change and adapt! Not to mention the car needs work for other drivers to show their talent instead of trying to drive like Max which no one seems to be able to replicate.

Memory / Comments
These albums represent another break in the chronology of My Music Testimony. Although Rusty was released in 1997 and Wake Up Screaming in 2000, these albums found me around 2008/9.

At that time I was studying graphic design and was in a band. Our bassist’s wife knew I loved MXPX so she informed me about Slick Shoes (and Hangnail). They quickly resourced me with Slick Shoes’ discography, (mainly Rusty and Wake Up Screaming).

They were right, Slick Shoes’ music was another perfect compliment to MXPX and all the other affections I had.

Nothing too exciting here. Simply more easy listening, catchy, feel good sing-a-long music. Like other punk albums of this era the mix is basic with a focus on clear vocal volume.

One loom ready to go for @day_mow's WRX circuit car.
Using his existing M800 @motec_global ecu and SDL dash, now running a PDM30 and keypad.
Much simpler wiring and a lot of birds nests removed from under the dash!

Some good progress on the headlight intake, test fit went reasonably well, some minor changes to make regarding the intake angle/shape and mounting (it's just sitting there atm) and then we can move to the final part!
