Dreamy light, crisp air, a Chicago skyline, and the sweetest pair to spend the evening with. The perfect recipe for a beautiful engagement session.

Hot dogs and a Coke tower?! This was the cutest late night snack idea I have seen this year and also gave us some pretty amazing photo ops!

I’ve been getting asked a lot lately whether I think a second photographer add-on is necessary - and here’s my answer! Necessary? Typically no unless your day is 10 hours of coverage or a larger wedding.
However… having a second photographer does add SO many benefits to your gallery and overall wedding experience. A second photographer can capture different viewpoints than me of the same moment, the little details while I’m capturing the main events, and can also take some of the formal photo portions of the day at the same time as me (i.e. bridesmaids and groomsmen portraits) to help keep formal photos a small part of the day and let you enjoy more time soaking it all in.

Part II of the Steger’s summer wedding in downtown Madison 💐 feat. rainstorms, bright florals, heartfelt speeches that brought everyone (including me) to tears, live band, something borrowed (mom’s wedding dress!!), so many candids + authentic smiles.

These are the types of couples I want to spend their wedding day with - ones who trust my vision, live in the moment, + aren’t afraid to just be themselves. 🪩 Venue: @unionsouthmadison

We took some incredible portraits of Taylor + Derek with her mom’s Mercedes Benz on their wedding day. It was gifted by her father and serves as a precious reminder of his love for his family 🤍
