A day wrapped in light and love. ✨ Mackenzie & Jesse’s wedding was a symphony of beautiful details—the warm flicker of candlelight, the sunlit greens of the golf course, and the kind of golden glow that feels almost heaven-sent. Every element was intentional, every moment felt timeless. But the true beauty was in the way these two looked at each other—completely, endlessly in love.

A weekend that looks a little crazy on paper, but what seems to be the norm these past couple of months lol.

We’re heading into another double header wedding weekend.

First stop: Chicago! I’m headed back to Goose Island Barrel House to celebrate Leah & Adam. These two live in Nashville and chose Chicago as the perfect middle ground for their families to come together. One detail I’m especially excited about? Leah’s family is from California wine country, and they’re bringing in wine for their wedding day! As a wine girl myself, you already know I’m here for this one. I love when couples incorporate pieces of their story into their day in ways that feel personal and meaningful.

Then it’s straight back home that night so I can cheer Lincoln on at football in the morning, before heading to High Cliff for Aleigha & Collin’s wedding!

I’ve been working alongside Aleigha throughout the planning process, helping her create a vision while staying within their budget. There is something SO rewarding about watching all the little details, decisions, and hours of planning finally come together. Honestly, seeing it all unfold on the wedding day is one of my absolute favorite parts of what I do. I cannot wait to see their day come to life!

These two weddings officially wrap up our VERY, VERY busy couple of months, with just two more weddings left in our season this November. And when I say I’m running on adrenaline, coffee, and a whole lot of love for what I do… I mean it. 😂🤍

It’s wedding week for Becca & Kyle!

This week we’re headed to the Dandy in downtown Milwaukee for a sweet, intimate celebration. We love a venue with a little personality, and the Dandy’s vintage-inspired charm is the perfect backdrop for their day.

How long do you think it took me to set all of this up?!

All of those boxes turned into the finished reception… and I did it completely by myself.

It took: 3 hours + 45 minutes.

And this wasn’t just putting a few things on tables. This included:

• 26 tables fully set + the head table (not pictured)
• 50+ hurricanes filled with water from the bathroom sink for floating candles 🫠 (thankfully had a cart)
• Floating candles
• Pillar candles
• Taper candles
• Tea lights
• Place cards at every place setting
• A gift at every place setting
• Card + gift table
• Seating chart
• Table numbers
• Signage throughout the space
• Champagne tower
• PLUS some extra time for the florist to come back and fix centerpieces that weren’t set correctly

And yes… I was moving the entire time. 😂

This is why I always tell couples to allow REALISTIC setup time on their wedding day.

Your décor doesn’t magically go from boxes to beautiful. Every candle has to be placed, every place setting has to be aligned, every sign needs to go up, every detail needs to be styled, and sometimes there are unexpected things that need to be fixed along the way.

And here’s the part couples sometimes don’t realize:

If it takes 3 hours and 45 minutes to set it all up… it can take just as long to tear it all back down.

That’s nearly 8 hours of hands-on setup + teardown for one wedding day.

Which is exactly why having a planner/coordinator (and enough time built into your timeline!) matters. You shouldn’t be spending your wedding day carrying boxes, filling vases, placing candles, or worrying about whether everything is ready.

A little pop of color, a mix of textures, and so many thoughtful details. 🤍

Blair & Sam’s day was the sweetest blend of soft blues, peachy pinks, fresh florals, vintage-inspired details, and plenty of personality. I loved getting to help bring their vision to life at the beautiful LedgeCrest Reserve!

And a little wedding design tip from your planner: don’t be afraid to add some COLOR! Your tables don’t all have to look exactly the same either. Mixing centerpiece styles, textures, candles, linens, and floral arrangements can make the whole room feel so much more intentional and layered.

Another budget-friendly tip:
If you love the look of custom wedding stationery but don’t want to spend a fortune, check Etsy for editable design templates! Find a style you love, customize it in Canva, and have it printed locally at UPS or your favorite print shop. This can be a HUGE money saver for invitations, signage, menus, seating charts, and more.

HAPPY WEDDING WEEK to TWO of our amazing DB couples! 🤍✨

It’s a BIG one around here! Erin & Max are getting married Friday at the historic Pritzlaff, followed by Megan & Mason’s beautiful day at The Fete on Saturday!

One wedding solo, one with my girl Alex back by my side the whole day, for the first time since June 🥹🤍

And a little extra love for vendor friends who send couples our way and look out for one another, we’re so grateful! 🫶🏼

Busy season is in full swing and we’re LOVING every second of it.

3-PEAT WEEKEND! 💍

Three weddings, two days, and SO much love to celebrate! 🤍

Kicking things off with Vanessa & Rob’s wedding in Illinois! I’ve been working with Vanessa for over a year to bring her dream wedding to life, and I truly can’t believe the big day is finally HERE! 🥹 I can’t wait to see all the planning, details, and special moments come together.

Then on Saturday, we’re heading back close to my stomping grounds in De Pere to celebrate TWO amazing couples! Abigail & Andrew and Claire & Kyle!

It’s going to be one BUSY weekend filled with love, happy tears, beautiful details, and so many exciting moments. I wouldn’t have it any other way! 🤍
