POUNDS FAMILY MEMBER TO REFORM ROOM: “WE’LL FU*K Y’ALL UP” Reformers, this is alarming. After receiving a missed call at 4:53 PM from +1 (770) 895-9024, a number our phone identified as “Maybe: Waymond Pounds,” Reform Room Solutions Group preserved a communication stating: “Whoever made that motherfucking post about my goddamn family. Y’all don’t know shit, and we’ll get on y’all motherfucking ass. We’ll fuck y’all up in a heartbeat, quick. Stop talking about my motherfucking family, bitch. Talk about your weak-ass family.” We are documenting exactly what was communicated. Reform Room has been exercising our FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS to discuss matters of public concern, share evidence, question government conduct, expose investigative failures, and advocate for grieving families. We should be able to do that without communications that would make members of Reform Room or their families believe bodily harm could follow if we continue speaking. Georgia law addresses terroristic threats under O.C.G.A. § 16-11-37, including #threats to commit crimes of #violence when made for the purpose of terrorizing another or in reckless disregard of that risk. WE WILL BE TAKING THIS MATTER TO THE GBI. The recording, phone number, caller identification, call history, and related documentation have been preserved. This is exactly why the public needs to know what happens behind closed doors in law enforcement. This is gangsta behavior coming from the family of the Douglas County Sheriff. We will continue exercising our FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS. We will continue discussing Investigator Aubree Horton. We will continue discussing investigative #ineptitude. We will continue asking questions. We will continue presenting evidence. Nobody should have to wonder whether speaking critically about an elected Sheriff could result in a member of that Sheriff’s family communicating language about fu*king them up. This is why we say it may be time for Douglas County @dcsheriffga to lose some Pounds.

REFORMERS, WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE IS HAPPENING TO INVESTIGATOR AUBREE HORTON IN THIS MOMENT? We have no documentation showing that the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office investigated this moment captured on Ring camera. Watch closely. Investigator Horton’s head suddenly jerks backward, his upper body appears to lock or stiffen, his torso straightens, and his body goes rigid as he falls almost straight backward. Reformers, what does that movement look like to you? Investigator Horton’s mother stated that she had all Ring camera footage provided to her analyzed and was advised that the footage had been heavily edited. Many of our Reformers are law enforcement professionals. From your knowledge, training, and experience, what could cause a person’s head to jerk backward while the body suddenly stiffens and goes almost straight back? We have discussed our own possibilities internally. Investigator Horton had approximately 30 injuries to his body that remain unexplained. There’s no documentation showing that Sheriff Tim Pounds’ office investigated what caused them. Deputies were too busy not rendering aid, listening to Horton gasp for air while referring to it as “the dead man’s gurgle,” falsely accusing Horton of being on meth or fentanyl, conducting a botched burglary investigation instead of a homicide investigation, and doing everything else that had nothing to do with preserving Horton’s life. One deputy was outside taking a selfie of himself with the crime scene tape that surrounded the scene, while one of the investigative deputies highlighted the homeowner is a “good man” and that his brother attended the same Masonic lodge as some of the deputies. A lot was being discussed for too many questions to remain unanswered. WHAT HAPPENED TO INVESTIGATOR HORTON BEFORE HE WAS SHOT? What caused approximately 30 injuries to his body? What caused this sudden movement captured on video? @dcsheriffga , this is exactly why we will continue DEMANDING that Investigator Horton’s case be REOPENED AND TURNED OVER TO THE GBI. Sheriff Tim Pounds, what do you have to lose by reopening this case and turning it over to the GBI? Reformers, tel

WHY WAS APD DETECTIVE TRACY LEWIS WARNING FUGITIVE INVESTIGATOR HORTON’S FAMILY? Investigator Aubree Horton’s family was told that Atlanta Police Department Detective Tracy Lewis sent a perceived warning through another APD investigator who was close to Horton. The message? BACK OFF THE INVESTIGATION BECAUSE THEY WOULD NEVER FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED. That leaves Reform Room Solutions Group with one major question: WHY? Why would Investigator Horton’s family never find out what happened to him? What does Detective Lewis know that prompted a warning for Horton’s family to stop looking into the mystery surrounding his death? The family was also told Lewis said she knows people in Douglas County. WHO ARE THOSE PEOPLE? What relationship, if any, did they have to the investigation into Investigator Horton’s death? Are they aware of, or responsible for, what happened that led Horton into such an extreme state of distress? Our APD @atlantapolice Reformers highlighted that Detective Lewis is also acquainted with APD Officer Aliyah Ruffin, Horton’s girlfriend and the last known person with him before his death. Chief Schierbaum was made aware of Lewis’ statement. Was this warning ever investigated by APD administratively? The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office investigation did not yield this information. Did anyone bother asking Detective Lewis what she knew, who she knew in Douglas County, or why Horton’s family would supposedly NEVER FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED? Sheriff Tim Pounds @dcsheriffga , is this part of the reason Investigator Horton did not receive the thorough investigation he deserved? Is this why rumors were allowed to control the narrative surrounding Horton and his investigation? Is this why the burglary narrative continues to follow Investigator Horton? We all know once you remove #burglary, you are left with a #homicide. We need this case sent to the GBI because whoever caused Investigator Horton’s distress should be responsible for his death.

Hey Sheriff Pounds, we continue to reach out to you. As we give your office its flowers today and take a pause from our regular schedule to acknowledge the hard work your deputies did this morning, we are once again asking you to reach out to us. Our email is info@reformroom.org. We also left our phone number on your voicemail. We have contacted you several times, and we believe it would be beneficial for us to find some common ground as we continue demanding that Investigator Aubree Horton’s case be turned over to the GBI. Standing on opposite sides of an accountability issue can make things appear adversarial, but we are not your enemies. If this were your family member, or even you, and we believed you had been wronged, we would fight for the integrity of your case and for you to receive justice. We would stand beside your family through that fight. That is what Reform Room Solutions Group does. Sheriff Pounds @dcsheriffga , we do not have to agree on everything to sit down, have a conversation, and work toward doing what is right. Let’s meet in the middle.

🚨 SHERIFF TIM POUNDS ADDRESSED RUMORS BUT THE EVIDENCE TELLS A DIFFERENT STORY ⚠️ WARNING: This video contains graphic and disturbing material. Viewer discretion is advised. Douglas County Sheriff @dcsheriffga Tim Pounds publicly addressed what he called “rumors” surrounding the #death of Atlanta Police Department Investigator Aubree Horton. Now it is time for the public to see some of the evidence that was left out of that narrative. Watch closely… Investigator Horton appears confused, calling out as though he believed he was at home. He does NOT appear to break through the door as the public was led to believe. Investigator Horton sits down, he abruptly falls back, and the neighbor later OPENS the door for him. Then everything changes. Investigator Horton is shot in the BACK of the head. Bodycam captures deputies speculating about what happened. A deputy can even be heard saying Investigator Horton had a “death gurgle.” Yet where was the pulse check? Where was the attempt at resuscitation? Where was the rendering of aid? An independent autopsy documented approximately 30 injuries to Investigator Horton’s body. That alone demands answers about what Investigator Horton had been through that night. Investigator Horton had already called 911. When help did not come, Investigator Horton sought refuge. The place he turned to for #safety became the place where he lost his life. When Sheriff Tim Pounds was asked a question for clarity by Investigator Horton’s family, Sheriff Tim Pounds LAUGHED. WHAT’S FUNNY, SHERIFF TIM POUNDS? The investigation your office gave? You know just like we do: if you remove burglary, you have HOMICIDE. So why wasn’t this case classified as a HOMICIDE? REFORM ROOM IS ONLY EXPOSING THE EVIDENCE FOR NOW, BUT WE WILL GET ANSWERS! WE WILL GET #ACCOUNTABILITY! @lesacollins26

🚨A VETERAN, DECORATED FUGITIVE INVESTIGATOR AND MAN IN NEED OF HELP CALLED A “MOTHERFUCKER” AND DISPARAGED BY THE DOUGLAS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE Investigator Aubree Horton’s mother @lesacollins26 says members of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office @dcsheriffga called her son a “motherfucker” and falsely claimed he was on meth and fentanyl. You do not have to take our word for it. Listen to the deputy yourself. Then listen to the people who actually knew Horton’s work. Atlanta Police Department personnel, including the Chief of Police, describe Horton as a highly skilled investigator who earned the respect of the people around him. This was a man who dedicated his life to service. A United States #veteran. A decorated law enforcement investigator. A man trusted to investigate crimes, locate dangerous fugitives and help bring answers to families. Yet after Horton died under circumstances that should have demanded a thorough and professional investigation, members of the agency responsible for investigating his death were speaking about him like this. Investigators are supposed to follow #evidence. They are supposed to document #facts. They are supposed to determine what happened without allowing insults, assumptions or a predetermined narrative to interfere with the investigation. So Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, we have a simple question: Why were members of your agency disparaging Investigator Aubree Horton instead of giving his death the same professional investigative care he spent his career giving to others? Investigator Horton spent his life serving his country and his community. He deserved better in death.
