The rain had the whole city twirling,
every leaf applauding the sky,
every breeze carrying a little love story.

I was busy collecting those tiny miracles,
until I noticed my favorite one...
padding after me with the gentlest paws,
as though my every moment was meant to be his too.

And maybe that’s our forever,
I chase the rain,
while you quietly chase me.

There are sunsets prettier than paintings,
flowers softer than silk,
and skies that steal everyone’s attention...
yet somehow,
the loveliest view my eyes have ever known
has always been your impossibly precious little face.

My sweetest shadow.
My happiest coincidence.
My safest home wrapped in golden fur.

If love ever decided to wag its tail,
I know exactly what it would look like.

Always you, Cookie.
Always you. 🤍🐾

Yesterday was Tuesday. 🐾
And mama said, “Most of my colleagues are on OOO today… maybe today is meant for something beautiful.”

I didn’t understand what OOO means…
but I understood beautiful.🌿

So I wagged my tail and went along with mama and papa to a nearby nursery.
So many plants. So many smells. So many leaves asking to be sniffed.

But then… I saw her. 🪴✨
A white ceramic pot with little red swastikas, tiny oms, and colorful flowers painted all around it.
Something about it felt warm. Sacred. Home-like.
I sniffed it once.
Then twice.
And I think mama and papa understood…
because their eyes sparkled exactly like mine did. 🤍

Papa chose a beautiful Tulsi with two healthy branches, and Irshad Uncle carefully helped us prepare her for the journey home.
I walked around supervising everything, of course. Very important duty. 🐶

And then…Tulsi Mata came home. 🌿

Now she sits beside my favorite balcony spot - the place where I keep watch on all the humans coming and going outside.
I sniff the air.
I sniff the corridor.
And sometimes… I softly sniff Tulsi Mata too.

Maybe she understands dog language. 🥺

Every time the wind touches her leaves, I quietly pray:
“Please bless my mama, my papa, my family… and maybe give me extra treats too.” 🤍

And guess what mama found out at the end of the day?
Yesterday was Bada Mangalvaar.❤️
So maybe it really was a special day chosen by the universe itself.

Welcome home, Tulsi Mata.
Please keep blessing our little family with love, peace, protection… and tail wags forever. 🌿🐾

I sit by the balcony, nose pressed to the air,
counting footsteps that are not yet yours.

Every sound feels like you,
every silence feels too long.

Did you forget me… or are you bringing something yummy
like chicken… or that tiny treat I love?

I wait by the door, then the corridor, then back again,
as if moving closer will bring you faster.

My tail remembers you before my eyes do,
it starts wagging at every maybe.

The world is big, but my world is you,
and even thirty minutes feels like forever without my home.

Come soon… I have saved all my love
right here, in this little waiting heart. 🐾
