Tune in to Hive Theory: AUGUST CHANGE

"Hive Theory" is a radio series that begins with the honey bee colony and follows its connections into the world beyond it.

August marks a time of important transition and change within the honey bee hive. Energy and efforts are directed towards increasing reserves for the winter and raising a population that will endure the winter months.

This summer, we're honored to welcome @laraaji_official to The Listening Apiary at Wave Farm.

Widely regarded as one of the pioneers of ambient music, @laraaji_official has spent decades exploring the relationship between sound, improvisation, and deep listening. For one evening, Laraaji will perform overlooking the beehives, with honey bees and the sounds of the surrounding landscape becoming part of the listening.

This is an intentionally small gathering. Capacity is limited to preserve the experience.
