Last day of this Mother's Day weekend took us to the great annual art fair at @laumeierstl with with artists from all over the country. They also had some great music from the @playadors (guest stars @emily___wallace @taynkamimi and @neil.salsich ), and @funkybuttbrass . On top of that, there was some amazing art... too much to show, so I only included my very favorite from @deadwaxart . I hope all the mothers out there had as much fun this weekend as I did!

The Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival has been a popular event for 67 years now and it is no wonder why! Beautiful art in every direction and for all budgets, it is hard to not be inspired by the experience. I decided to match books to some of the art I had the pleasure of viewing this year. Stay tuned for part 2!

✧ New Vendor Spotlight ✧

Please welcome @DeadwaxArt to Market Hill.

Inspired by the unused space on a vinyl record, Dead Wax transforms music into visual emotion. Founded by Dallas-based artist Alex, the work began on Venice Beach and has since evolved into large-scale, music-driven pieces shown across festivals nationwide.

Each piece captures the feeling of a song, the nostalgia, the energy, the memory tied to a specific moment in time. It’s art that doesn’t just hang on a wall; it sparks recognition and conversation.

Experience Dead Wax Art during the Market Hill Spring Show, March 9–29, located in Building 1!
