If ever you thought it might be hard to go from dark to light walls... @livpurvis living room will give you the little nudge you needed!
With the help of creative interiors eye @s.latham_interiors to pull this scheme together, Olivia chose our plaster pink 'Jonquil' full colour on the walls and 'Whiting' on the woodwork. Such a warm and cocooning living room, with 'Jonquil' having the addition of yellow natural pigment complementing the fun and wavey shelving wood by @freeborn_carpentry and of course the green and white tiling by @dean_khalil using @milagros_london.

@livpurvis says 'The very beautiful finishing coats of @edwardbulmerpaint 'Jonquil'- which is the most perfect clay pink ever (it's also natural which means it's virtually odorless (no toxins or petro-chemicals) which makes it ideal for painting with little people too). It went on like a dream and had a very speedy drying time meaning, including the white and woodwork we did the whole room in a couple of days.'

A triumph @livpurvis, thank you and @s.latham_interiors 🙏💕
Take a look at our stories, where we also share @livpurvis reel transformation - particularly for those who currently have dark walls and needing the colour confidence to go lighter with our natural colours!

It's been a busy few weeks finally giving the living room a little love to make it a special warm cosy space ☁️ ☁️☁️ having had the same dark walls for five years, it's been an exciting time adding in some new features, including these wavey shelves by @freeborn_carpentry (who I used last year for the wardrobes upstairs and who are bloody fab), plaster pink walls ('Jonquil' by @edwardbulmerpaint) and some extra special tiles too (made to look swanky by the oh so talented @dean_khalil). I also employed the dreamy eye of my friend @s.latham_interiors to help pull everything together. I've been wanting to change this space for a little while, but have never known how/been scared about big changes/never trusting my decisions/what things might cost, so having an expert eye to offer ideas and beautiful design solutions from some of my silly little ideas has been invaluable. It's truly becoming the heart of the home, and I feel very lucky to be able to have this spot as my Strictly/Nora Ephron/MAFS spot 💫 (I am also a terrible plant mother, so am working on that I promise)
