Oasis 'home' in Ireland this weekend. Half the world away, or half a life ago anyhow, I was making my Massive Heads for Chris Evans in the late 90s - what times!

Delighted to have contributed to Issue 2 of Ragaire Literary Magazine! Huge thanks to Aileen, Tara, Mary, and Cormac for organising such a fantastic launch last week. Sharing a few favorite moments, (most) images by Alanna Scully. Copies available to buy at ragairemagazine.com/buy/ 🖤

Lovely to see two of the bravest, truest, soundest humans, and poets, you're likely to come across, in Galway tonight. Michael Pedersen, that force of nature, and Hollie McNish, a walking inspiration, were back in town. If you ever get the chance, see them! Meantime, read Hollie's new 'Lobster...' and Michael's 'Cat Prince', available in good bookshops. #poetrycommunity #poetry

An absolute joy at Cúirt in Galway tonight! Meeting the incredible Lemn Sissay was a highlight, lifting spirits after such a hard week.

Lemn's Let the Light Pour In does what it says on the tin, and then some, and he complimented his four line marvels with epic renditions, served up with wit and truth. If you ever have the opportunity do not miss him! 📚✨

(PS. were they yellow AF1s LEMN? Cos I'll win a bet, but somehow owe Hazel a pair!? 😆)

It was a true pleasure to work with the incredibly talented artists behind 'TRIO – Paintings Inspired by Nature' and to have the honour of introducing Eithne Verling at the opening reception last Friday at Kenny Gallery, Galway. The artworks displayed are really captivating, each piece reflecting the artists' deep connection with nature. Don't miss the chance to experience this inspiring exhibition, reopening tomorrow morning at 9am at Kennys! 🖼️🎨🌿 🖤 (📸 C Ó Léanacháin) 🎨 #Art #Galway #KennyGallery #fionaconcannon #martinafurlong #marjavankampen #trioexhibition

Brilliant @skylight47poems launched tonight after September 'Over the Edge'. Inspired trio of featured readers were Fiona Hanley, Jim Ward & Anne Rouse. Anne then launched the issue, and gave my contribution a very kind mention. Sincere thanks to the editors for including me, such a thrill to be chosen from 900 entrants x

Lovely to read at the August #OverTheEdge, featured readers Hazel Naughton, beam & Donald Gardner were wonderful (good luck at Queen's Hazel!). I read 'Leviathan' a new #poem, won't put it up here in case I use it elsewhere (but very happy to share by DM). Thanks to Susan & Kevin!
