TAMAHAGANE: A Story of Japanese Steel When we decided to bring BESPOKED to Japan, we wanted to understand more about the materials, people and traditions that have shaped its handmade bicycle culture. Made by BESPOKED’s Petor Georgallou and supported by @sramroad, Tamahagane begins with the almost mythological roots of steel as a material in Japan, before tracing its journey through industry, keirin, some of Japan’s celebrated heritage makers and the lore surrounding the steel bicycle. At the centre of the film is a new bike made by Shinichi Konno of @cherubim_official - a traditional master NJS framebuilder who also heads the Tokyo College of Cycle Design, working between the heritage of Japanese framebuilding and where it might go next. The film was made in the lead-up to the first BESPOKED in Japan: an exploration of Japanese handmade bicycle culture, and some of what made us want to bring the show here in the first place. After sharing a preview in Dresden, we’re very excited to give Tamahagane its official premiere in Osaka on Wednesday 21 October, as part of a special BESPOKED film night at @brotures_osaka BESPOKED Osaka 23–25 October 2026 TAMAHAGANE：日本鋼の物語 BESPOKEDを日本で開催することを決めたとき、私たちは、日本のハンドメイド自転車文化を形づくってきた素材、人々、そして受け継がれてきた伝統について、もっと深く知りたいと思うようになりました。

Dream Blueprints☁️ - by GIAWASA When an idea takes over your mind, no matter how small that idea might be at first... ...It soon becomes a virus, not satisfied until you find ways to make it a reality Yes, this did not feel real at first. Cause looking back, this was a crazy journey. - the battles lost and won, - the gains made, - the scars collect, They all have their place in the story. Or it could all just be a dream...
