She’s Canadian rock royalty. Danielle McTaggart has spent more than a decade on Canada’s biggest stages as one half of Juno Award-winning band @dearrouge , and more recently, the solo artist @larkkmusic. Offstage, she spent ten years longing to become a mother. Now mum to Elliott, pregnant with a daughter, she opens up about hope, loss and staying creative while touring as a family of almost four.

She’s a kindred spirit and we know you’ll fall in love with her as quickly as we did.

Forever grateful for the many opportunities I’ve been and continue to be blessed with.

Forever grateful for artists trusting my wonky ideas and bringing their vision to life.

Forever grateful for anyone who takes a chance on hiring me, recommends me to a friend or shares/likes/reposts my content.

Forever grateful for amazing lighting and a foggy atmosphere. And the little micro victories.

From my concert photographer family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving 📸🦃

You know her as the powerhouse voice behind @DearRouge. Now, @DanielleMcTaggart returns to Maple Ridge as LARKK (@LARKKMusic) for an evening of piano, ethereal vocals, and captivating songwriting at The ACT Arts Centre. 🌙🪽

🌌 Drawing comparisons to Phoebe Bridgers, Patrick Watson, Big Thief, St. Vincent, and Weyes Blood, LARKK’s music is intimate, powerful, and best experienced live.

🤍 As one of her final performances before welcoming a new baby, this is a special performance you won’t want to miss. Tickets on sale now!

We had the most magical evening at Tin Horn Creek Winery sipping some of the best wines in the Okanagan while taking in the vast landscape that stretches out as far as the eye can see… The icing on the cake was being taken on a musical journey by the dynamic band Dear Rouge. All under the glow of the Harvest Moon.
