Precision Shooting

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Placed 6/49 in Tac division and 20/106 Overall at Geissele Gas Gun series match 7 this past weekend. Cleaned 8/10 stages. Enjoyed some tough stages with a few 1MOA targets in the mix. Had a lot better mental focus this weekend than my previous two matches. Wind calls on two stages caught me with unengaged target penalties with one of the stages taking me from a 3rd place finish to a 6th place finish.

With my first full season of shooting precision gas gun coming to an end shortly, overall, I cannot complain about the progress that’s been made, awesome friends I’ve made, and the industry support I’ve received along the way. Especially @jeremymgresham and @bduffy12786 for giving me opportunity to shoot on behalf of Team IWI.

The @iwi.us SPR paired with @blackarcmunitions 262Alpha, and the @ballistic_engineering GOAT, however, does what you tell it to, every single time. Only exception is, when I don’t do my part.

Living my best life! Had a great time running my first team sniper match. It was physically and mentally challenging, something the normal matches I shoot can't match. Teamed up with @chip9923 and we definitely walked away with good lessons and good memories.

Have to give a huge shout-out to @sniper_team_series for putting on an incredible match and allowing regular guys to mix it up with the big dawgs! It tested my limits and I know where to make improvements for next time. Will definitely be going back next year!

Long format live discussion about managing multiple AB enabled devices and applying results from CDF truing to devices that lack that feature.

Have a good one.

Some before and after editing of photos from this past weekends Geissele Gas Gun match. Haven’t done photography in over 18 years. This should be fun.

Geissele Gas Gun Match 5.

My first match being able to fully represent Team @iwi.us with my SPR all set up. The rifle, well it shot amazing. There is nothing else to say about that. I can’t say I have a single complaint. I was able to secure a 8th place finish in Tac division, and 14th overall out of 96 shooters. (Update: Actually 6th in Tac and 13th overall)

This rifle shoots so flat, that I was getting hits on the next target before hits were even called on the first. Hard stop, there are no better factory SPRs on the market for what you get for what these costs.

Thanks to @blackarcmunitions for pushing out some spicy 77s that get the job done Every. Single. Time. @ballistic_engineering for their GOAT triggers, that are the best competition triggers I’ve shot. And @kestrelballistics for pumping out solid data to put the rounds where they need to go.

Special thanks to @jeremymgresham for seeing something in me, and giving me the opportunity to represent Team IWI.

Awesome day in the sun with guns at the @geissele gas gun match. Some of these stages that they put together are astoundingly difficult and really show you what you’re capable of. Happy to be next to some incredible shooters today. @em_______41 @evolution_training_solutions

Heading to the @geissele gas gun match this weekend to push the limits of my long range skills. Who will I be seeing there?

Yesterday, some of the Lodestone family participated in the @geissele Gas Gun Series. It’s an incredible event that will test you. If you get the opportunity, you should check it out. #lodestone #geissele #gasgun #pennsylvaniashortrifle #lodestonefamily

Some more shots from yesterday‘s long range rifle match at @geissele proving grounds. Couldn’t recommend shooting this match enough for those interested in long range shooting. Very challenging to hit 6 inch steel at 600+ yards, humbling to say the least. Hoping to continue attending these and get better. Thanks for bringing me out @em_______41

Thanks to iwi and @proofresearch and everyone else who sponsored this match and the @sniper_team_series
