A night of hot jazz at a very warm (temperature of the venue) and crowd response, at The Regattabar with Listen To This. This band sure knows how to groove and swerve and take you on a journey. @deupreejerome @russ.gershon @deathhand @davebryantmusic @rickmclaughlinmusic @ranebar @bruneltodd @sendai77

Well, MIRAGE has only been out a couple weeks but I’m digging into the next album already and that called for a return to the soul shop in Medford, MA to record some trumpet with @deathhand for what is shaping up to be an epic album with some real cinematic moments that felt special to record. Sometimes these horn lines sit in my head for a LONG time before I get to hear them in the real world so it felt special to get this stuff materialized.
@delucatone brought some excellent input and swiftness to some of the more complicated material and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Coming up tomorrow is our show at @lilypadinman with @childrenoftheflamingwheel and @hidden_fountain so I’m getting excited to show mode. I hope to catch up with some familiar faces and share some new tunes.

… and then there was MIRAGE …
It was a long 5 years to get here and I’m elated to let this thing go into the world.
I could never have done this without @daveberkham and @lukestrahota who bring this music to the stage with me, @dawn_aquarius who made the amazing cover art, @jddehaan who put together the cd and LP design, @glenn_brigman who played keyboards and tabla all over this record, @mrrobbyboy for his recording help, @newallianceeast who created an exquisite master, @babyrobotmedia for helping us spread the word, @deathhand for bringing trumpet to yet another record of ours, Pete Curry for his priceless contributions, and last but certainly not least, @roughntumble_productions who created our “Purple Panther” video

Have a listen wherever you listen to music and let me know what you think!

Thanks everyone!
