🎮 CONFIRMED FOR DUTCH GAME WEEK 2026: THE LINE (JAMES DUVEEN & JUANPE ARROYO) 🎮

James Duveen began his career as a 2D animator, spending a decade working across a range of projects including Sylvain Chomet’s acclaimed feature The Illusionist and Red Carpet Rampage, THE LINE‘s very first game

In 2017 he made the move into business development, and today serves as Founding Partner and Managing Director at THE LINE Entertainment, where he oversees development across feature film, series and games; including the studio’s highly anticipated upcoming title Deaths of Peck, with a playable prototype already available on Steam.

James will be joined on stage by Deaths of Peck creator and animator Juanpe Arroyo for a joint presentation on one of the most exciting creative crossroads in the industry today.

From the team behind the scenes to the artists, performers, photographers, stewards and everyone who walked through the doors, Naniverse Clubhouse happened because people showed up and made it their own.

Most importantly, thank you to every creator who trusted us with their work, and everyone who gave them their attention, time and respect.

You built the room with us. 🫶

Our community didn’t just hear about these games, they got to play them. 🎮

At Naniverse Clubhouse, Picilian Entertainment brought Junction Hill, an RPG set within a real UK landscape, while The Line challenged players with Deaths of Peck, a platformer where death is the only way forward.

One brought a world to explore. The other made dying part of the strategy.

Thank you to Picilian Entertainment and The Line for sharing their builds with our community at Somerset House. 🍄💀

Here’s a little animation I made based on one of the illustrations from the game Deaths of Peck. It’s an amazing hand-drawn 2D game!
