On the cover: Singapore Sling: Mark Curley, founder of New York design firm Lafayette MC, concocted a color-drenched tropical cocktail for living, indulging his mad-for-color clients with a stunning 32-color hand-drawn freeform custom rug. Each flower is meticulously positioned to interact with the furniture plan. Structural columns are wrapped in a rainbow of Bisazza glass mosaic tiles, and a custom organic-shaped cove ceiling, also designed by Curley, features a swirl of blossoms casting a play of shadows by the light of Lindsey Adelman’s arching Kingdom chandelier.
