What a fantastic night last night for our Horizons Near & Far concert at the wonderful All Saints’ Church in Ockbrook! We were honoured to have @soeren_sieg with us for the world premiere of his new piece, First Sunrays, commissioned by Equinox Saxophone Ensemble as a continued celebration of our 20 year anniversary.

A huge thank you to everyone who came watch, it was wonderful to see such a full church, and to see many friends come to support us for this joyous occasion.

This could be us on Saturday!
You = sat comfortably enjoying some tunes from around the world.
Us = frantically trying to keep up with Claire when she sets her tempos for the fast sections of her pieces 😂

Come along to see if she makes us sweat! 🥵

Really looking forward to it, hope to see you there!

Ali’s view vs. Claire’s view: who captured us having the most fun do we think?!

The last few minutes before we go on stage consist of tuning (lots of it!), last minute emergency wees and selfies apparently 😂

We have plenty more of these to share… maybe we should make a calendar?! What do you think?
