An underrated skill to have!

The ability to have short term memory and reset from what happened.

When things don’t go our way, we can sit and dwell. Conversely, when things are going great we can get too high and become distracted.

It’s very important to learn from the bad, celebrate the good, but then MOVE on to the next task.

The coach-athlete relationship is… well a relationship. It should be collaborative and not about having control. Pushing back, asking questions, asking for clarification, and asking for the thought process are signs that you are invested in this as the athlete.
