WHAT A WEEKEND 🤩 Wolfe Strength squad had a phenomenal weekend at the Virus Series 2/WSO National Meet in Fort Worth last weekend. @deehiz1393 got competition PRs in both lifts at 58/76 with a 134 total (PR) at her first national meet! @dans_mathbreak swept 3rd place in the WSO and took 4th in Virus with a 90 snatch, 115 c&j (PR) and 205 total (PR) at his first national meet! @osagiegaiyamu smoked his first 2 snatches then unfortunately had to withdraw due to injury. We wish him a speedy recovery AND we’re hyped that his 96 snatch still earned him a 2nd place medal in WSO! @beautynbrains44 had an insane 6/6 meet smashing an 80 snatch (PR), 100 c&j (comp PR) for a 180 total (PR) and sweeping 3rd in WSO! @stefanotheweightlifter smoked a 130 snatch and 170 c&j which earned him 1st in WSO, 3rd in WSO snatch and total and 3rd c&j in Virus and 5th in Virus total! We are so proud and had a blast catching up with everyone in the weightlifting community last weekend! MAY THE KILOS BE WITH YOU recap… Yes, it took me over a week to recover and post this 🫠 I had the pleasure of coaching 8 people who got to go out there and give it everything they had! I am so proud of every single one of these lifters. Whether I’m your regular coach or just your meet coach it brings me so much joy to support you on your big day. @kelln8or (no video) had a great comeback meet with a 51kg clean and jerk PR! @kac.johnson smashed her openers and went 4/6 for the day! @lauren3lifts smoked her opening snatch (meet goal) & destroyed a 77kg PR clean and jerk! Spencer (too cool for IG) got a total in his first ever meet after starting Olympic lifting just a few months ago! @dans_mathbreak competed for the first time and exceeded the qualifying total he needed ending with 93/111! @osagiegaiyamu had a 6/6 meet smoking 95/118 after coming back from injury! @deehiz1393 went 4/6 hitting her best total to date at 130kg! @physical_revelry went 6/6 powering everything ending the day with a solid 74/94 and qualifying for finals! Hope everyone had a blast and is ready for the next one…Dia De Los Kilos 11/7/26 👀 Stay strong and remember… We offer personal training, custom programming, classes, seminars, and competitions. Danielle OWNED the Little Chicken Award!! @deehiz1393 The Little Chicken Award is all in good fun—but it comes with a message. It gets passed to a lifter when we know they’ve got the lift in them… but they hesitate, back off, or “chicken out” at the last second. It’s not about calling anyone out—it’s about calling them up. Everyone in the gym knows what that moment feels like, when your body can do it but your mind isn’t quite there yet. This award is our way of turning that moment into something positive. It’s meant to get a laugh, lighten the mood, and remind the lifter (and everyone watching) that they’re capable of more. #weightlifting #cleanandjerk #usaweightlifting #usaw #olympiclifting
