🤖 Happy Star Wars Day This year’s cinematic continues the May 4th storyline, following Delta Zero One as they rescue the downed X-Wing pilot from previous vignettes while escaping the Imperial base on SERELLA. With the mission compromised, Sarah makes a fateful sacrifice, clearing a path for the team to break out of the facility and push into the city. I’ve been planning this ciné for three years and have always wanted to explore what it would look like to portray a Force-sensitive (Similfuturus) soldier in combat. Special thanks to my wife @Swo.n for playing the main character this year!! and a huge thank you to @DarylPinsdorf for mixing, collaborating and mastering the SFX pass — you always make these feel so special! Stoked to have co-led the motion development of Spotify’s Wrapped this year, where an estimated 200 million users worldwide will explore their 2023 listening trends. The UX Motion Team managed both the animation of brand visualizations and the creation of the animated Data-Stories; maintaining their file size below 50kb to ensure a seamless performance on new and older iOS and Android devices(&web!). We then converted our After Effects files into code and handed it off to Engineering for implementation. 🚀 Sajeeb and I have been talking about collaborating for at least ~4 years?¿ and we got the chance to do so this past summer for his fall tour. With the tour now ending, I wanted to express my appreciation to him, his team— and all of his fans who took a moment to record what we created together.
