I could defend a dissertation. Learning to publicly say “here’s what I offer, and here’s what it costs” was a different education.

Because building something meant becoming a beginner in front of people who already knew me as an expert.

Learning sales. Making offers. Being visible before I felt ready. Letting people misunderstand a career I was still figuring out how to build.

But I wanted a life where being a behavior analyst didn’t require leaving the dancer, coach, and movement teacher outside the door.

So I built ABASI Dance Lab.

Now, I get to invite other behavior analysts into the actual place that once existed only as an idea.

That’s why Beyond the Clinic means so much to me.

I want you to see what applying this science can look like. To ask questions about the work and the business behind it. To meet people who understand why you want something different.

You can love behavior analysis and want a career you haven’t seen modeled yet.

You can also start learning how to build it.

Comment BEYOND and I’ll send you the event details. 🤍

15 CEUs + POINTE Program certification included.

Your credentials already tell me you can learn.

Now let’s give people a reason to hire you.

An offer they understand.
Content that gets you seen.
A sales conversation you don’t spend three weeks avoiding.

This week’s wins? A second paying client. A first strategy session with an ideal client. Reels reaching hundreds of thousands after averaging 500 views.

I’m going to brag on them because I know what it takes to put your work out there before you feel ready.

Inside ABASI Ascend Business Mentorship, we work on turning your expertise into a private-pay business—and taking the actions that give it a chance to grow.

You’ve saved enough inspiration. Let’s build something people can buy.

There’s a reason I care so much about the BCBA who says, “I love this science, but I don’t know where I fit.”

I know how much of yourself can get left out of that conversation.

The dancer. The athlete. The creative. The person with an idea she keeps minimizing because she hasn’t seen another BCBA do it yet.

Dance was never a small part of my life. Neither was behavior analysis. Building ABASI Dance Lab meant figuring out how to bring them together—and learning how to make that work sustainable.

Research. Teaching. Entrepreneurship. Becoming a beginner again after earning a doctorate.

When I invite you into ABASI Dance Lab, I’m inviting you into something deeply personal: a place I spent years building around work I believed mattered.

I want you to see what happens here. Ask how it works. Understand the decisions, the training, and the business behind it.

And I want us to make room for a conversation about what you want to build.

That’s why I created Beyond the Clinic by ABASI.

Join us January 21–23, 2027, in Tampa for 2.5 days of applied learning, behind-the-scenes access, and small-group business coaching—with 15 CEUs included and a personalized 90-day action plan.

You don’t have to know exactly where your idea is going before you give it some attention.

You’ve spent years learning how to help people move toward what matters. Your own life deserves a place in that work, too.

I would love to welcome you here. 🤍

The best part of adaptive fitness is that it can be applied to anyone, and it can apply to everyday life and things that matter most to the individual! Cameron has been one of my practice athletes throughout learning and applying the skills I’m learning with my Autism Fitness Pro practical and video exam.

When we first started practicing, she automatically knew that this could help her get stronger. One thing she asked me after practicing a few weeks ago was if we could do this more often so she could get stronger for gymnastics. I often see she has a lot of fear around doing things because she believes she’s not strong enough. Allowing her and encouraging her to participate in these exercises helps with her confidence, strength, and seeing that she CAN do hard things.

Here’s just a few of the things that we work on to help her with building her strength! I always start with letting her make the choice in order of exercises and creating a visual to refer to! She loves getting to check off the boxes.

This morning, I got my video exam results back, and I was able to complete the remainder of my exam this afternoon!

*Elliot was not asked to participate in any of this, but she of course wanted to join in.

I didn’t do it RIGHT after our call, but it is before 2am (at least for me)! I probably tried to record this 3021483709 times after finally getting the kids to sleep, so it took a little longer than I anticipated. And sorry for the scratchy voice, but here we go…

About a year after becoming a BCBA, I knew the “traditional space” wasn’t for me long-term. I’ve spent years and years searching what I could do instead. I knew I loved helping others, then I found ABASI. I saw multiple ways in which other BCBAs were building outside of the clinic. I followed several of those people, and I have a lot of different ideas and ways I want to go, but something that really stood out to me was individualized fitness programs for the neurodivergent population!

I saw gaps in completing tasks, completing daily living skills, participation in activities, and regulation. I see moments where kids need intentional movement, and not just to “run it out.”

I hope to show this importance to my community to help show how strength can lead to greater independence! #aba #adaptivefitness #bcba

Holly didn’t leave ABA to build a career she loved.
She expanded what was possible with it. 🔥

From competency → application → multiple revenue streams → business ownership → $10K+ months + FREEDOM.

No new degree.
No abandoning her BCBA.
No waiting for someone else to create the opportunity.

She built it. 💅🏼

And that’s exactly what we teach inside ABASI Ascend.

🚀Ready to build yours?

DM “ASCEND” to apply.✨

10 years ago, I couldn’t find the ABA career I wanted.

So I built it.

Now I want other BCBAs to experience what I wish I had back then: a room full of people who actually get it and a place for evidence of what’s possible.

Earn CEUs. Talk business. Watch sessions. Ask the messy questions. See ABA being applied beyond the traditional model. Build real relationships with BCBAs who are creating careers differently.

Not just another conference you attend and forget.

A space that makes you leave thinking, “Wait… I could build something like this too.”
