Sanctuary campus now! 📣

Education not deportation! 📣

We demand the UA Office of the President and Office of the General Counsel publicly commit to solidifying the University of Arizona as a sanctuary campus to protect every student and worker, including, but not limited to, undocumented and documented UA community members against state-sanctioned violence.

We deserve a safe campus to live and learn.

The Office of the President and Office of the General Counsel have been notified of these demands as of 7 AM on Monday, October 12, 2026. We have requested a response by 5 PM on Friday, October 23, 2026.

What can you do?

1. Join us!
2. Sign the petition.
3. Ask 1 other person to do the same actions today.

Actions are in our Linktree.

Image descriptions are in the comments, and alt text is enabled. The image is on a gray crinkled background, announcing a campaign for a sanctuary campus. At the top, centered in a mint rectangle, reads: “We demand” in white lettering, all caps, with a black shadow. Below, in-between two orange lines, the title of the campaign reads: "University of Arizona" in red lettering, arched, all caps. This is followed by "Sanctuary Campus" in black lettering, all caps, with an orange shadow. “Now!” is in the lower right corner below “campus” in black lettering, all caps, on a yellow painted background. Underneath, centered in a mint rectangle, reads: “No ICE on campus” in white lettering, all caps, with a black shadow. In the top left are a red moth and orange butterfly. Across the bottom are the logos for sponsoring organizations: UA Resist, DeFlock Tucson, Feminists Organized to Resist, Create, and Empower (FORCE), UA National Lawyers Guild (NLG), UA Planned Parenthood Generation Action (PPGEN), UA Students for Socialism (SFS), and United Campus Workers of Arizona (UCWAZ).

Thank you to everyone for re-electing me this July, but we are not done yet! 🙏🏼♥️

This November, we must work on the final piece of the puzzle to continue all the amazing work we’ve done these past few years.

In order to do that, we must re-elect Brian Flagg and Cesar Aguirre. We ran on a slate because we share the same commitment to serving and to fighting for all members in our South Tucson community. We can only truly and fully defend nuestro barrio if we all win TOGETHER. 🤝

We thank you for your support and urge you to use your power and VOTE for us as soon as you get your ballots.🗳️

This is why we’re fighting ALL ALPRs. They are warrantless mass surveillance that is repeatedly abused and simply make mistakes that terrorize our communities. All ALPRs violate our rights.

Third time there's been a request to agendize cancelling the Flock contract. City council isnt taking residents requests seriously. They should spend more time educating themselves on this on-going threat to privacy issue.
