this time last year, I realized I had BIIIIG problem. I realized my ONLY creative outlet was content / work-related. while I LOVE all the creative work I get to do…. while my content does feel like an outlet for me… that’s a lot of pressure to put on the content that’s also meant to support my business goals!!! truth is, I was spending so much time doing creative WORK that I forgot how to be creative in any other capacity — that it could literally be just for funzies. it doesn’t have to MEAN anything!!!!!! or LEAD anywhere!! I forgot I was/am a creative PERSON, not just a creative entrepreneur. more than that, I was so busy, I stopped engaging in hobbies altogether. I rarely stopped to take a moment for myself — and even when I did, my brain was a buzz with all the shit I had to do. SO! Last summer, I reconnected with a bunch of the crafty hobbies I had as a kid! knitting
painting scrapbooking latch hook jewelry making and over the last 6 months, I’ve tried some new ones, too! pipe cleaner flowers watercolors crocheting (still on my 2026 bingo card to learn!!!) and once I started sharing more of my arts n crafts online, I noticed a lot of creative entrepreneurs in my community ALSO enjoyed arts n crafts!!! I also noticed that all the online groups that exist — free and paid — are all, in SOME WAY/SHAPE/FORM, about work. and all I wanted to do was host a bitch n stitch night with my online pals and not talk about my business or feel like I needed to pitch myself or share what I’m working on!!!! and since we’re scattered around the globe… 6 months ago, Craft Social Club was born as means to dedicate one hour, once a month to turning your brain off, picking up your favorite crafty hobby, connecting with other creatives & fueling your creativity OUTSIDE of work!! and if that sounds litty as a titty to you, I hope you’ll join us!!!! 🍓 June’s Craft Social:

IT’S WEBSITE LAUNCH DAY!!! 🎉👏🏻 This has been such a fun project behind the scenes, and I’m sooo excited to finally share it! I wanted you to feel that childlike giddiness and excitement that I feel right now and at every session! Aside from the feeling, the vibes were beachy, playful, fun, and full of personality; and I could not have done that without the help of some amazing creatives!! @madebynf the incredible brand and web designer. I cannot say enough amazing things about you. You’re so talented and truly gifted at taking the vibes, ideas, and inspiration and bringing them to life in the most beautiful way.
